Canelo went on to say he plans on challenging Tyson Fury for the WBC heavyweight title however he does have a stipulation of a catch weight of 182 lbs

Pac did catchweights. Are you ok with that then but not now?

I don't think the deck-stacking beady-eyed ginger snake demon is trying to drag Mack-a-boo down to a catchweight of 180 pounds, I think he's alluding to the weight he expects to come in at, which I think he's lying through his teeth about.

Nice false equivalency. You of the school of thought that ALL Catchweight fights are equal? Must be because ALL boxers enter fights w/ the same weight issues and stipulations.

I expect Canelo to outweigh Makabu by 15-20 pounds, catchweight or not.

No it's not. I just know he'll complain about any kind of catchweight Canelo does.

This is serious Bs. Makabu is really ripped at 200, we would be a holocaust survivor at 180.
Thats just so nasty of canelo. The guy knows that the kongonese will have the paycheck of his life and knows he can have his way with him. Seriously makabu would agree to fight only with his lead hand. Absolutely dreadful behavior, i assume even a guy like briedis wouldnt agree on that.

Catchweigtht's work for some. Yeah? Especially smaller guys who moved up a lot. Canelo adds 20+ after weighing in. He was a cruiser while fighting at 154. If this fights is at 180.... it's a farce.

Makabu will give in. He needs the money. This doesn't need to be fixed like the Kovalev fight just drain Makabu and have a hydration clause and the outcome is guaranteed.

The word “catchweight” is spelled in the DAZN article. I just hope It was a misunderstanding and Canelo was just talking about his own weight he wanted to weigh in.

Besides, WBC will force 190 on Canelo’s behalf anyways, there wouldn’t be any point in forcing a 180lbs catchweight other than belittling the accomplishment.

Makabu weighed in at just under 200 pounds in his last couple fights. If Canelo demands a 180 pound catchweight then he's draining
the African down to a weight where he'd look like an Auschwitz survivor. THAT'S THE POINT! It's another Team Canelo BS trick.

    Are you serious?

Was Pac ever the bigger man?

Was Pac ever built like a tank and brick house?

Did Pac ever rely on size and physicality to muscle through his opponents?

Nah. He was always the smaller dude chasing greatness 2-3 divisions above where he should have been competing and was always being bounced around like a pinball.

I do expected this but he didnt say that there would be a catchweight, he only referred to the weight he'd reach.

Lets wait for details before we overreact lmao.
