Didn’t close to 20k Brits go out to Vegas for Wilder Fury 2.

Fury against Seferi did more than Whyte’s last fight in front of a crowd in the UK. If Fury fought in the UK these days he’d sell an arena out 3 times over.

I hope for the best for Dillian Whyte, but I must admit I'm getting a little bit tired ... I do not believe that Whyte will get a world title shot in the near future. Unfortunately.

Yes. Povetkin looked shot to bits in the first fight really. Not surprising considering his age.

Whyte has plenty of good fights out there if he wants them.
Wallin is a good fight for him.
    Parker rematch.
    Joyce, Dubois, Ruiz.

I'm not sure using a different account for a while counts as "leaving the forum" I'm curious what brought you back? It does amuse me a grown man can create alt accounts, reply to himself, then come on here questioning the intelligence of others.

Whytes defeat ratio is also consistently higher than Furys.

His belts won ratio is considerably lower though.

    Oh,

I thought you left the forum all embarrassed as Whyte got put to sleep by a pensioner in his promoters back garden, after you had waffled on for ever and more about how great he was and how he was "the can man" or whatever weekly catchphrase Eddie was promoting.

    My mistake.

I don't think he has alts, it's just Dean posting whenever the hubby gives him a break.

I for one thought I missed him. His passionate love of Whyte and his delusions surrounding him were entertaining. Or at least I though they were. It grows tiresome quickly.

Povetkin was shot to bits well before he set foot in the ring with Whyte, and still brutally KOd him.

In the rematch it was a shot to pieces Pov who had just had covid.

Is it just me or do these matchroom fighters suddenly become difficult to work with as soon as they're not the A side.

I try to refrain from debating who deserves what when it comes to purse splits but Whyte holding out for 45% feels pretty greedy all things considered. They should just meet in the middle, call it 70:30 and get on with it.

Whyte priced himself out of an AJ rematch for world titles, turned down a king's ransom. It would not be a shock if he prices himself out of a shot at Fury.
Whether it is greed, shrewd business, an unorthodox career plan, stubborness or bad business sense is a matter of opinion. But whatever it is, he has to take some of the blame when the fights don't get made.
