Just like the title says, what do you think that mostly think "x" would beat why "y" but you think "y" beats "x"? Me first, Ernie Terrel beats Sonny Liston
In 2021? Too many to list, so I'll just mention 1: George Foreman, in his prime, beats Vitali Klitschko in his prime.
I have had many arguments over the years on here about this but Mike McCallum beats Tommy Hearns at any weight from 154 to 175. He ain't eating that right hand and he is breaking ribs inside of Tommy's reach. Manny Steward was no dummy. He saw McCallum eat Jackson up and wanted no part of it with all of those fab four money fights. Also, Ike Quartey jabs Tito's head off and backs him up just like Winky did so he can't land that left hook.
1992 Bowe knocks Lewis of that same year out cold in 3. 1980 Larry Holmes stops 1988 Mike Tyson in 9 or 10 at the outside.
I don’t mean to popularise your unpopular opinion but I do agree on Holmes besting Mike with a good possibility of a stoppage.
Yeah it's ludicrous but I just think he'd be immune to a lot of SRLs flash and style and just maul him. I'm prolly wrong tbh
Wait. Are these supposed to be realistic fights based on fighters that were of the same era or is this the usual old school guy beats new school guy?
H2H Oleksandr Usyk would beat Larry Holmes but Holmes ranks higher and would do better against other heavyweight ATGs from different time periods
