Why is Whyte pricing himself out of another whirl Title fight?

He wants 45% mate. Surely you know he doesn’t deserve that. If Whyte was that confident he would take a flat fee (£6mil eg) and win the fight

That’s him. Really pulls down the quality of discussion on here too.

Thought Mitch was bad but at least he puts his points across politely, doesn’t make stuff up and clearly has a good boxing knowledge.

Yep - Mitch is fairly harmless if dull. Aydamn and his numerous alts just bring the quality of the forum down. At least Vegan Beast (probably an Aydamn alt) and Mark Ant (moron) get shoo’d off the Brit forum fairly easily.

Everybody who saw his last 2 or 3 fights disagrees with you.

Got to admire his relentless support for Whyte - he took on the entire forum in a drug cheat thread and was a clear winner on points.

He is either Dullian Whyte, Whyte's partner, a very close friend or his Lab Manager - the detailed knowledge of PEDs was very impressive.

But WBC regulations say he does deserve that?

    Don’t shoot the messenger.

Yeah they were probably talking about Wilder. Who was exciting.

But everyone on my side of the planet, which includes Europe, Africa and Asia... find Whyte the more entertaining fighter based on style. I read comments all the time on youtube about how boring Klitckho vs Fury was.

But see the comments on Whytes fights and KOs... the punters love it.

Yeah fair enough. My only concern is I don’t think Lewis was ever a betting underdog in his career (maybe Holyfield 1?) whereas Fury has overcome the odds. I dunno, it’s close, I’d give the edge to big Tyson but you could successfully argue either way I think. To be fair, thinking back now with the names you’ve listed it’s quite the resume.

Looks like Teo made the criminal mistake of overlooking a big (and motivated) underdog! I’ve followed Kambosos career for years, by coincidence. One of my mates met him when he was travelling in Oz and said he’s a right wanker, but I got following him after that and have always quite liked watching him. I didn’t think he’d win in a million years, but felt he would push Teo and perhaps go the distance. Chuffed for the lad.

He did really well, showed loads of bottle and deserved to win. I thought he would get stopped early like Commey did, but I was wrong. This is why we love boxing, fair play to him.

Thinking about your point, he was an underdog against Ruddock.

Didn’t know that, nice one. To be fair people forget Fury was an underdog vs Chisora first time round, and only a slight favourite in the second one.

If the split is 45% for the WBC mandatory then I struggle to understand why Whyte should accept less?

The risk is Fury vacates and he ends up fighting someone else for a much smaller pie thus cutting off his nose to spite his face. Though it’d be someone he has more chance of beating…

If fury was so confident he would stop crying about things “he doesnt care about” and agree the 45%.
