I maintain Sandy Saddler beats Willie Pep three out of four. In fact, I further believe he stops Pep all three times.
You are likely right. For McCallum to make big noise and be worth some money he had to fight one of the fab 4 and he just wasn't much of a draw as he was. He never did become a big money opponent truth be told despite fighting at a very high level. A spanner in the works however is that Steward most willingly put McCrory in there with him in 1987. He must have thought McCrory had some sort of chance you'd think. Milton did actually give him a half decent fight too.
Manny Pacquiao stops Carmen Basilio on cuts ......Basilio is tailor made for Pacquiao ....someone explain to me how Basilio wins this one
Your on to something. Barkley had size, power, chin, he was crazy. He gave Michael Nunn all he wanted and I don't think Ray was as tough to get to as Nunn was.
Antonio Cervantes beats Roberto Duran by unanimous decision. Saoul Mamby beats Alexis Arguello by unanimous decision.
I'm not sure why. What could tokyo Douglas do that 1980 Larry Holmes couldn't do better? I don't see why 1980 Larry wouldn't have a decent shot of pulling it off, using the same exact fight plan he used on Shavers.
