The current state of the heavyweight division paints a different picture. Joshua was crushed by a 6 foot morbidly obese modern day Tony Galento and lost to a very good cruiserweight. Deontay Wilder frequently weighs in at 215 pounds. Fury has yet to lose but had great trouble and almost got flattened by mediocre cruiserweight Cunningham.

Heavyweight divisions has more than 2 fighters (Joshua and Fury).
Ignoring how brutally Cunningham got knocked out.
Your trite defence of "legacy" HWs is predictable.

Are you going to admit Ali and Frazier lose to Fury when Usyk is defeated?

Depending on how convincingly he defeats him (if he does in the first place) I might give him the nod vs Ali. But IMO Frazier is a style nightmare for him.

Peak Ali beats Fury no matter what happens with Usyk. Usyk has had a whopping 3 heavyweight fights and 19 fights total. Pardon me for not thinking that's enough for his supposed conquer to beat Ali.

    Old handle?

Frazier would be chinned. If he comes smoking at Fury he will be smothered to death.
Ali shamelessly clinched Frazier and he only weighed 212 lbs.

So Usyk beating Joshua proves Ali could beat modern heavies, but if he loses then it doesn't mean anything for Ali's chances.

Laughable classicist logic: heads I win, tails you lose.

Are you implying that Ali was displaying some sort of strength advantage by holding on to Frazier? Both men were tired and accepted the holding to rest. Frazier still landed enough leather to beat him by a mile on the cards.

Frazier would be a very very tough target for Fury. Watch Fury vs Chisora II, their third round I think, the moment Chisora started employing a bob and weave offensive attack he started getting close screwing Furys timing completely, then smacked him with an overhand right. Frazier was a million Times better than Chisora fighting in this style. If Fury tried smothering Frazier would just land his hooks on the way in, to the body and then later to the head.

It should be obvious that I am taking about the second fight. Fury will lean on Frazier whenever he comes close enough to attack the body.
    Fury made Chisora quit.

You seem to know a lot about Classic logic considering you've been here just over a week.

Joshua's just not that good and he's copped two floggings in his last 4 fights including one against a 14-1 underdog and one as a solid fave in the other.

But that sort of common sense has no place in your modernist alt username world.

The biggest bane of the Classic forum is nothing posters slipping straight back in other id's or even worse opening another while their old tarnished username is still open.

I have seen links to this forum from other places on the internet. This subsection can be seen without an account.
    This describes you well.

Again, Frazier throws his hooks coming in. I fail to understand your perception. As Fury leans out his arms to grab Joe he gets a hook to the body first. Or Frazier can nail him with a leaping hook from mid range as he closes in. Joe was very good at throwing that Punch.
