Me too…and I hope they do the same to Usyk, Loma, GGG, Canelo, AJ, you know what I mean…just burn the whole thing down. That would be great for me as a boxing fan.
It will be Haney, which I think is a mistake for Kambosos. He's not going to be able to handle that level of boxing ability. Make sense for Matchroom, tho.
Honestly tho, even if Haney and Kambosos have the belts... the entire world and the entire division knows who the baddest man in the division is. It sure as **** aint haney or kambosos, and if teo is moving up then its not even a debate anymore.
The thing is he’s gotten by with his opponents fearing his power for so long. This might change things for him as that fear will not be there any more. Loma was started gun shy as he was leery of it but the second half he clearly realized it wasn’t that bad. Kambosos stepped to the center of the ring from round 1 which should have been a message to Teo.
Loma was injured and gave too much respect to Lopez. Look at how he destroyed Nakatani earlier this year. I have no doubt Loma beats Lopez in a rematch. Probably never happens now though so it’s moot.
I'm sure if he give that opportunity, Lomachenko will be ready to fight for no money, all for Kambosos, so he could pay Lopez to stay quiet or that to be the $ if the case goes to the court.
Lopez is finished at 135, I'd wager he entered the ring tonight at 150 pounds. He was obviously bigger than Kambosa . If his power doesn't carry up to 140-147 he'll have a hard time. From what I saw tonight Taylor would school him at 140
I agree 100%, that said just because Kambosos took it doesn’t mean everybody else would. I agree though he fought like an amateur and looked trash.
Look at what Loma has achieved. Who he's beaten. The risks he has taken, coming right out of the gate taking risks like no other. Joint fastest one weight champ ever. Fastest two weight champ ever. Fastest three weight champ ever. Fought 10 world champion in 17 fights, 15 of his 17 fights being world title fights, both completely unheard of. Dared to be great like no other coming right out of the gates. In a sport full of weight bullies, deck-stackers, and PED cheats he tried to unify a division where he's routinely giving away huge physical advantages, physical advantages no one in the P4P top 10 is giving away, or anywhere near as often as he is, and all without a stacked deck or trying to weaken these giants with catchweights, rehydration clauses, short camps or the aid of PEDs to help him bridge the gap. GTFOH if you think anyone is more deserving of a shot than him. He's one of the few legacy fighters in the sport and dares to be great like very few others. See how Lopez does in his third division against world class opponents who are way bigger, longer, heavier and more powerful than him. Oh wait he just lost in his first division Who's more deserving of a shot at Kambosos? Super ''sore loser'' Lopez the king of weight bullies? Haney who has beaten who exactly and hasn't achieved a fraction of what Loma has and like Lopez is a massive weight bully who literally looks like the living dead on the scales?
