Yeah better idea would be to offer the fight to Django but doubt Gallen would fight him on short notice.

Very tough fight. That chin might get tested early & often. Goodall starts fast & can really throw them.

These are the kind of fights we want to see though. Winner gets a top 15 world ranking with a couple of sanctioning bodies & a date with Junior Fa.

Their team has already backed out of fighting him previously. Could be wrong but think he’s now with No Limit so I doubt it’ll happen any time soon.

I think they don't want to risk getting an early L. Which I see being very likely if he was to step in with big T right now.

Jackson has had even less amatuer experience and was a late starter.

Maybe they will reconsider when there is a little more something on the line.

Brilliant performance from George. Certainly vindicated the faith some on here have shown in him over several years.

Don't think we'll be seeing @MidniteProwler for a while. He would have cleaned up on that one.

I've been feeling a bit down about the prospect of finishing another year without a world boxing champion. That's despite the proliferation of titles & all the talent we've got from H/W down to Junior Bantam.

Don't need to worry about that any more though b/c we've got the Unified Lightweight champion of the World. Congrats to George, his Team (& The Prowler) on a history-making performance!

Hard work & self-belief is what did it for him. You've got to admire a guy who believed 100% in himself when others didn't.

Props to the prowler, i did not see that happening. As one of George's biggest critics may i say congratulations George well done.

Stiffy would have loved this Sandy , im really happy for you Aussie fans this morning a **** off Lopez to having a rematch ,far too much of that **** going on these days , Lopez got beaten fair and square by the sounds of it **** him and his plank of an old man . Nice easy defence or TWO back home and just see how much these grubby ******* promoters are prepared to pay George for a real test & let George enjoy being Champ for 12-18 months with no risk .

Worth a look when you get a chance, Outlaw. I liked the reaction of the New York crowd. They booed George loudly before the fight & cheered Lopez. At the end of the fight, Lopez took the microphone & claimed victory but the crowd weren't having a bar of it. They made sure George received his recognition by booing Lopez.

Had $100 on him at $6 so not a bad score. Kambosos is a legend best in Australia he is elite.

Yes mate I just caught that part on the tube . George sliced him up by the looks of it too , let's hope Teo takes a well delivered message onboard out of this fight and returns a bit more of a humble fighter as he's still young and a very good fighter to be in the mix .

Well done Prow bet you're **** a hoop mate as you've been preaching the result of this fight for a very long time , anyone on this thread knows I'm a big fan of George but in all honesty I thought the decision would go the other way and a lot wider that it actually turned out to be but I must say I'm delighted to be wrong .
