Except it wasn’t the first time he implied that money is off little importance to him, he went deep on the subject to reiterate further in other boxing interviews “I had a Mercedes from a young age, never had to worry about money... had it all before... couldnt give a toss about it now”

Fury apologetics on here: “don’t listen to what fury says he is always joking, sarcasm, banter, doesnt mean what he says “

Also Fury apologetics: “ Omg didn’t AJ say this ?? Didn’t Whyte say that??? Yeah he did... why you lying!!” “Why would he say it if he doesn’t mean it!!!”

Loool that is some serious cult following.

Whyte deserves a shot I've said that for a long time. He's a dangerous fighter sure, out of 20 fights he could KO Tyson Fury once. Based on styles Dillian Whyte is not exactly much trouble for Fury, Fury wouldn't maul or get inside a guy whose best punch is an inside left hook slash uppercut. He'd beat him by a jab, Whyte hasn't got footwork, hes sloppy with questionable stamina he has a decent jab when people are marching forwards him like chisora and Rivas. Other than that he's just not well rounded.

But your right it's just a forum, so your ridiculously cringe worthy schtick is tolerated. Don't worry people are going to continue to abuse you for being attached to dillons sack, that's the forum. If you can't take it go watch povetkin jolt whytes Neck and put him into a deep sleep, and go missing again. We were all worried. :eusa_liar:

I usually watch Dillians best KOs instead, because Fury doesn’t have any nice ones.

Whyte has a good jab (with longer reach than people expect) solid left hook, solid body shots and a good cross.

His cross is underrated when it visibly wobbled Chisora in round one of their rematch and Rivas in round 2. And those guys are seriously built men with very thick necks. Not flabby frail like Fury or his pencil neck.

Whyte has bad footwork, bad accuracy but he always finds a way to make it all work somehow. Corrected his shortcoming in Pov rematch and didn’t get a chance yet to avenge AJ when I said he has a food chance and then Ruiz came along and showed how its possible.

Fury has never met resistance like Dillian Whyte, because klitckho and Wilder couldn’t mix it up like Whyte can with the variety of punches I mentioned.
Wilder hits hard but only has a 1/2 combination.

Fury is awkward and rangy, but doesn’t like to use his length as other taller fighters so when he gets close Whyte can work the body and go up top.

I back Whyte to win, I give Fury advantage based on his awkward style. But whyte has dealt with helenius who was a tall decent boxer with good power. Who mauled Heavyweight boogeyman Kownacki.
    Twice.

Whyte punches hard enough to KO Chisora out cold. Registered as a KO not a TKO. And he was down for a while, as Don Charles clutched his lifeless body praying to jesus... you think I’m making this up????

Whyte brings more of a challenge than Pianeta Wilder Wallin Seferi Schwarz.

Chisora beat Whyte in the 1st. Rivas gave him a good fight, Rivas is not bad, Parker life and death. Povetkin a once elite fighter KTFO. When Whyte steps over to world class he gets stomped. And look how badly he was KTFO he loves that bottom rope. Whyte is a tough man with big heart and balls, he will need More than that though he's facing a man with just as much but more skills speed footwork and length. Obviously you never saw how Fury dealt with chisora 2 hammer and klitchko. If he doesn't want to be hit he won't be. Fury could beat Whyte easily in a boring fight, if he chooses to.

By the way just watching Whyte KO videos means you will never know boxing and be as knowledgeable as me or any of the sages other on here. (Even on Whyte fights)

I dont believe you are as knowledgeable about boxing as you think you are or you claim to be.

Whyte is a relative novice with little to no amateur pedigree in boxing compared with his peers.

He has had to learn on the job, one of the things he has learnt and developed well is his Jab.

A knowledgeable boxing person will have praised Dillian Whyte on his effective use of the Jab but you have not done this. Ergo to me, you know very little and have not even boxed yourself to really know how boxing techniques work.

The jab is used to keep distance from the opponent, score points, disrupt the opponents rythm, and to set up your combinations as well as to find the range to launch your cross. Whyte uses his Jab for ALL of those things, you are just too blind and too closed minded to actually see it.

AJ by comparison rarely uses the jab. Doesn’t care for its effectiveness.

Whyte varies the speed on his jab, and it has worked great for him. David Haye commended Whyte on his jab also noting how his reach is a few inches longer than you think it is, everytime you think you are out of range he catches you with it.

Now lets talk about your biased opinion of the Parker fight,.. life and death??? Hell no. Parker mentally quit in that fight. By round 4 he looked at his own corner in dismay as if to say okay Whyte still in this fight our gameplan isn’t working. Same look Rivas gave his own corner when he got rocked by Whyte and needed advise against a guy you seem to think is useless. I can SCREENSHOT these moments for you but unfortunately you strike me as too closed minded to accept it. I see these things clearly, LYING is an offense against yourself ....I have no reason to make this **** up.

Now lets add some perspective, Parker previously beat Ruiz same guy who dethroned AJ. He is younger than whyte, 16 years more boxing experience and an ex WBO champion. Those are some serious credentials Whyte was facing. It takes 10,000 hours to get good at something according to some research with professional athletes... now think about facing someone with 16 years headstart on you.

Further more the forum by consensus agrees Parker has fast hands, and its also by consensus that he who lands first has the upper hand. So whyte took on this highly decorated parker who also happens to have twice the handspeed at HEAVYWEIGHT! This presents risk and danger and guess what... this was a VOLUNTARY FIGHT!!!!!!!!

Parker gave up in this fight...lost his nerve , and felt sorry for himself. Everytime he exchanged with Whyte he would flinch and grimace. The video doesnt lie.

in the post fight interview Parker was asked how did it feel in there he said “OUTSIDE OF THE LEFT HOOK KNOCKDOWN WHYTE HIT ME THE HARDEST THAT IVE EVER BEEN HIT. Whyte hits hard”

    This interview is on youtube.

In reality based on the way Whyte is portrayed on here, Parker should have won this EASILY. Why the flying EFF did he need a 13th round to get a win.

Two hands, two feet and the referee isn’t stopping you from hitting Whyte. So don’t give me this rubbish... Parker has his chance to beat this useless dosser you think Whyte is who is an EASY nights work for someone like Fury who
Makes it a habit to get floored by 90 kilos men.

    90 kilos

    200 pounds

Big man Fury yeah 280 pound goliath. Schooled by Wallin, floored by Cunningham who has 13 kos in 40 fights.

seriously, you hate on Whyte so much your judgement is clouded.

For his own sake Whyte needs a tune up before fighting Fury. He's had one win in 2 years and that was against a medically unfit Pov.

If he does get a fight with Fury he'll regret not fighting Wallin due to "a sore shoulder" (yeah right). A good fight with Wallin would have been ideal - looks like he didn't fancy it and knows he has no chance against Fury anyway.

Only a non fighter like you would say something like “knows he has no chance” pretty sure he backs himself.

But you knows what he is thinking yeah?

    lol!!! Ok

It's very simple. Fury fans do not want the Whyte fight, because deep down they know Fury could lose. That's also the reason Fury does not want the fight himself. Fury believes he can beat Usyk and that is the reason he is trying so hard to push that fight. But AJ will not budge. Nor should he. So Fury will try and sneak in another bum fight in March to tune up for who ever wins the Usk vs AJ fight. And Fury may try to squeeze in another bum fight after that if the WBC does not call for a mandatory finally. So thats now 6 years since Fury beat Klitschko and he has has 7 fights, an arbitration, a nandrolone conviction, faked covid, faked mental illness, got drunk and did coke while ballooning up over 300 pounds, fought 3 guys WHO DON'T EVEN BOX ANY MORE and is currently running from a mandatory. All while trying to get AJ to break his contract with Usyk so Fury can fight him. None of this is champion behavior. Yet almost all of you have declared him to be the best heavyweight out there..even though he has only fought 4 of the current top 50

There have been washed up medalists like coke addict Biggs or those who never made a successful transition to the pros like Solis but Joyce clearly isn't in that category. Beating a silver/gold medalist in his prime has some cachet to it, other things being equal it's better than beating a fighter with little or no amateur pedigree to speak of.

I fundamentally disagree with your assessment of resumes. Say Ortiz beats the overranked Charles Martin as he likely will, he might be very highly ranked even at this stage but he's in his early-mid 40's (at least) carries a huge amount of wear and has 2 KO defeats. Whyte is significantly worse than Ortiz in a crucial respect as well: Ortiz never got a gift from the officials, Whyte has had several.

The bookies and those who have sparred with Dubois, including Fury and AJ, didn't regard Dubois as "British level". Dubois was a massive favourite and most in the know were saying it was a 50-50 fight or edging towards Dubois. It was also a legit win for Joyce: no referee point deductions, questionable scorecards or drug testing BS needed. Joyce's best win is better than any of the questionable Chisora-level wins that Whyte has, I suspect that Dubois would KO Whyte as well. And while Joyce is older, he has much better pedigree, carries significantly less wear and tear, is undefeated and has never been never KO'd in the pros, let alone by a shot wide underdog in his backyard. The only time Whyte has been an underdog in his career, he got brutally KO'd.

I wasn't saying that Fury should rematch Wallin per se, I was saying that 6'5 southpaw Wallin may well go on to do more than Whyte as Whyte is old, shopworn and hit his ceiling against Parker and Chisora. Therefore fighting a fresh contender in his 20's may do more legacy-wise in the long-run than beating the guy who is one fight removed from getting sparked out by a shot Povetkin in a so called final eliminator. No one will give Fury much credit for beating Whyte anyway, he's a 1/6 underdog against Fury for good reason. Whyte will go on to get KO'd more and further devalue the win. I'd be happy with Joyce, Ruiz, Kabayel, Wallin 2, Hunter, Sanchez, Yoka or Hrgovic.

Facts. Whyte shouldn't have gotten into it with the WBC and I agree he's not worth 45%.

That said Whyte vs Fury would be a fun scrap and I'd like to see it. Joyce vs Fury will be fun too. I'm keen to see either one.

Yes but the two things are different. Everyone says they don't care about money, because that is cool. Admitting that you don't care about legacy is a kind of confession.
