what do you guys think? tbh I felt it was very similar to the kd round of barrera-marquez which people were giving it 10-8 to marquez.

No, that's a very clear-cut 10-8 for Kambosos. López had been winning the round until getting dropped and would have taken it 10-9 had that not happened.

López didn't score a knockdown of his own after Kambosos' (while Kambosos did go down before the bell, it was a slip - and ruled as such by the ref) and he wasn't dominating him prior enough to suggest that his 10-9 should've been a 10-8 sans a KD. He didn't have Kambosos on the verge of being KTFO, he was just handily winning the first two minutes.

Are you on crack? Lopez hit a lot of air but neither guy did much damage before the KD. It was a clear 10-8 round for George K because of the KD.

Probably even, maybe a slight edge to Lopez prior to the KD but nothing clear as far as I recall but not enough for a 10-8 before the KD. I still don’t understand how judges scored it anything but 10-8 for Kambosos. His slip was ruled a slip caused by a blow to the back. More of a push if anything.

It should have been 10-8 for Kambosos. Lopez huffed and puffed and hit a lot of air but you don't win a round on style points. George effectively countered Lopez during his raging.

In no way, shape or form was it a 10-8 for Lopez. Anyone arguing that to be the case should find a new sport to follow. Feldman and Trella should have their refereeing license yanked for scoring the first round a 10-9 instead of 10-8 for Kambosos. That round wasn't close to one sided enough for Lopez to win it 10-8 before Kambosos dropped him. George was sneaking in crisp counters the whole round, I could actually see the knockdown he scored coming a mile away because Lopez was being so damned irresponsible. Sure, Teo was winning it before the knockdown, but 10-8 winning it? **** off. More A-side favors bull****.

    The 10-9 scores are ridiculous.

It’s a clear as day 10-8 round for Kambosos.

Nope. 10-8 round for Kambosos. No question. I admit when watching live I thought Lopez was winning that round big, but watching it back he was missing wildly, fighting sloppy and ended up getting caught with a beautiful shot and put on his ass.

Lopez was probably winning the round at the time of the KD but not by that much and definitely not enough for a 10-8 or to be classed as “dominant”.

The fact he got put down swings the round in Kambosos favour and the -1 point for the KD makes 10-8. Clear cut.

Teo maybe projected that he was dominating the 1st due to wildly wailing away looking for the KO, but not only was he missing and hitting air a heck of a lot, George caught him with a couple of sneaky counters that made him look a bit foolish and ungainly in there. The KD really put the icing on the cake for a amateurish round for Teo, and it was a textbook right by George

    10-8 Kambosos deffo.

I'd love to know how they can justify not giving Kombosos a 10/8 round. It doesn't matter if you're being beaten heavily in a round, if you knock someone down it's a 10/8 round if you don't get knocked down. Simple as.

    No

It was on track to be a 10-9 for Lopez but then swung to a 10-8 for Kambosos thanks to that rocket of a right hand

I once scored a Pac/Horn round to Pac 10-8 without a KD, to Pac. And it was a mistake.

Te'o was missing in that round just as badly as he was in the other 11. No chance was that a 10 - 9 round. He was closely winning a feel out round and got dropped hard, not some flash knockdown.
