this will absolutely bomb khan as mugged everyone off again how many times can one individual fleece sky i aint ****ing intrested as ian brown says keep what ya got
Every man and his dog was crying out for this fight at one point and they didn't deliver it to us Now they are both has been's with nowhere else to go and want to fleece us for a last pay day **** take
They are both so shot this could finish in seconds rather than minutes. Kell may as well just come out swinging because if he lands its game over. Khan is still quick and Kell head movement is 0 and he got wobbled bad by a jab v Crawford so maybe Khan should do the same. Play rock em sock em robots for a minute and see who wins. Could have been a great battle on the world scene this...now its only a few steps removed from Tyson V Jones. Brook and Khan are younger but still have too many miles on the clock.
Khan's legs are shot to bits (all over the place against Crawford) and whilst everyone has taken the **** out of his chin for years, one thing you could never slate was his heart.... but even that's deserted him now. He got hit low against Crawford yes... but you are allowed 5 minutes to recover and he didn't want to know whatsoever, he wanted a way out of the fight and he got it. Brook was boxing fairly well in the first round against Crawford then got put on ***** street by a shot he didn't even see... and one you would have expected him to take. So that doesn't bode well. I think Brook knocks Khan out... but it wouldn't surprise me if Khan overwhelmed him with speed in the 1st two rounds and got a stoppage off the back of it. If it goes past 2 or 3 then Brook will put him away
Mates of mine who have no interest in boxing are already talking about this... it'll do good numbers with the casuals on Sky.
Pointless cash out fight - With the winner getting one last payday by fighting Benn after. Late, post prime, rubbish, but will probably still tune in.
It's years too late obviously and has zero relevance to boxing rankings but there's genuine bad blood between them and two big UK names in their mid-30's so the casuals will still gobble it up. 500k buys easy. Personally I still want to see it because I despise Amir Khan and believe if Kell can get himself in decent shape, the KO is still there for him. Any sort of flick on Khan's chin and it's over. I actually expect Khan to pull out of this with an injury after getting splattered in sparring. BTW, Khan is the reason this fight didn't happen when it should have. As blatant a duck as you'll see. If there's any justice in boxing, he'll be sparked out and never fight again. I'm no Kell fan either before anyone starts. I'm calling this one for what it is.
There’s only one former world class fighter out of the two of them and it ain’t the kid from Bolton. I’ll hate myself for paying 20 quid for it but it’s at a time of year where the nights are cold and there’s not a lot else happening on a Friday in February so I’ll probably end up buying it. It won’t be a great watch because the pair of them are coming into it after years of inactivity and having both been given a good working over by fighters at the top of their game. But Kell is the only one of them who’s maintained any sort of training regime so if he can’t put Khan away given how little he’s boxed in the last 3 years it will be a huge surprise to me.
I’m not sure I even buy that there’s bad blood there anymore. I suspect that behind the scenes they’ve buddied up and are working together well.
