He has literally never fought a top guy at 135, you know his actual weight. Why is he exempt from criticism for dragging smaller guys up and only fighting low risk no hopers opponents? I get it, Tank has proven he can crush cans. Yet he doesn’t have any plans to fight a legit opponent in the foreseeable future. As long as idiots like you and his chump fans will continue to pay to see crap, ol’ Tank is happy to keep serving it up.

I can’t think of another fighter in boxing who cherry picks as much as Tank. Hasn’t fought a legit opponent in years. I’ve been critical of Teo for his cocky and often classless behavior but he’s years younger than Tank and has fought WAY better opposition and has held REAL belts. You can’t even compare their level of opposition and people are actually picking Tank to defeat Lopez? Tank just hangs around the fringes, clout chases by calling out big names on Twitter but he exclusively fights bums. I have no idea how good Tank is at 135 because anyone can look good fighting small guys and low level opposition. He’s a fraud until he proves otherwise

In what way is 135 his "actual weight"?

Hes 5'5 and can probably still make 130 if he wants.

Hes fought how many fights at 135?

Hes been at 135 for a couple years and has NEVER faced a top five opponent. He got out of 130 without facing Berchelt when he was top dog or Loma who called him out publically, because he was “too green”. Moved to 135 and continued where he left off. Isn’t he 27 now? Still hasn’t faced a top five opponent at his own weight. Let that sink in.

He will never see 130 again on the scale but I bet he fights another opponent moving from 130 to his first fight at 135. Tank is a fraud and a house fighter, protected fighter. You guys are chumps for not demanding more. He has no plans to fight anyone in the top five at his weight. That’s all you need to know.

Just because you complain that doesn't mean you don't like something
He wants to see the sport get better, not get worse as it's been getting for years

Tank is the next generation weight bully. He doesn’t starve down to make weight, he just drags up little guys from lower weights and makes them fight him at his weight. He’s been a LW for a few years and has avoided everyone in the top five. His next opponent scheduled was outside the top ten but got pulled out for sexual harassment charges so Tank replaced him with another guy outside the top ten. He’s literally fighting the only guy shorter than himself, a midget named Cruz who is 5’3” tall. And the lazy ****er is making this guy fight at 140, I believe. Tank is too lazy to weight bully the way other guys do it. He just stays fat and drags little guys up to fight him. That’s next level ****!

It’s hilarious and impressive he’s been able to find so many chumps to watch the shite he’s dishing out. I knew there were dumb people but underestimated the numbers. Apparently there are more than I imagined.

If I wanted to fight Tank Davis in real life and went for a double leg takedown but his pants fell down as he fell and my face ended up in his crotch, does that make me a cheat?

Wank needs to start fighting livelier bodies if he really wants to improve his game. He avoided any challenges at LW and will most likely do the same at Jr. WW.

Say what you will about Garcia but at least he fought a solid test in Campbell.

everything in boxing is a trade off. adding and subtracting to get the right balance. add power you lose speed. too much weight, opponents get too strong. strip too much weight, you get too weak for your opponents. it is a fighter and trainers job to find the best weight for their fighter using all the rules and all their fighters natural God given tools to their advantage. thats the game.
its an ideal weight that keeps changing until a man matures in his late 20s. thats the weight where you can maximize his strength, speed, resilience and stamina. its the environment this particular bodys design was built for.
ive asked him that exact same thing before. all kinds of mental and emotional issues going on.
