Ali is just a name for the most of the boxing fans right now, who is untouchable and he would beat everyone in his prime, that is the rule for some odd reason.

Nah I can’t let you say that. He’s rated as such because his resume consist of Sonny Liston off of his back to back demolition jobs on Floyd Patterson, ex champ Floyd Patterson, ex champ Ernie Terrell, Joe Frazier, Jimmy Ellis, Ken Norton, George Foreman, Ernie Shaviers and Leon Spinks not to mention all of his B-Level wins. He fought and beat EVERYBODY in his era so there was no question who was the best.

That’s the equivalent of Tyson beating Holyfield, Bowe, Lewis, Moorer, Mercer and then sticking around long enough to beat Vitali.

For Usyk to be mentioned with Ali he would have to beat Fury, Wilder, Ruiz, Whyte and Parker to go along with his win over AJ.

Why does Usyk have to fight 6'8" 270 lbs Fury to prove he could beat Ali?

Why is wilder even mentioned? Biggest fraud in the HW division. All heart no skill and substance. Ali would eat him for breakfast, chew him up and spit him out just cuz he got bored of schooling the unskilled bomber. As a pro, he couldnt jab or combo his way to save his life.

Not that he could beat Ali I quoted him for saying Ali is overrated and I stated he’s alway mentioned as the #1 HW of all time. Tryna figure out head to head matchups from different eras is a waste. The current HWs have a size advantage but the HWs then had a significant toughness and skill advantage.

Maybe he could beat Ali with his style ? You forgot that Ali in 60's was small and beating guys who were also small in weight and size, Ali never beat anyone with the weight of 220 pounds. (in 60's)

I have a question for you, who is the best HW right now and why ?

C'mon man, I like Usyk. You're making me hope he gets ktfo in his next fight just so you look extra stupid for saying this.

Im gonna try my hand at saying something equally as crazy as you.

If Ali rose from the dead right now, id put all my money on his skeleton beating the spit out of Usyk easily.

Gee, its fun to say silly things.

Anyone who liked the OP is a fool. Usyk too quick for Ali, are you smoking ****?

AJ was able to catch him, Bellew could catch him, Chisora caught him, why not Ali?

Ali is quicker than Usyk and Usyk cannot maintain the same pace for 12 rounds.

Joke thread. Ali is a better all rounder than Usyk.

Usyk is more intelligent, but that's about it.

Tyson fought and beat bigger men. "Prime" Ali did not.

What a silly statement. If 188 lbs Doug Jones can have a close fight with Ali then Usyk can definitely beat him.

I don't mean better in every single aspect, but all round he's better.

Usyk has a higher ring IQ, but I think Ali's head movement was better yes. He could keep it up throughout a fight, where as Usyk takes a significant amount of a fight at a slower pace, and is vulnerable. He was getting clearly outpointed by Bellew early on, although I understand Usyk was wearing him down, he'd not do that to Ali.

What Bellew did to Usyk for the early rounds, Ali could keep that up for 12-15 rounds, and he'd not tire out, and he'd also be a much greater KO threat to Usyk.

I think over 12-15 rounds, Usyk would get outworked and KO'd or UD'd 8/10. Ali would be too much for Usyk. He's quicker, more powerful, better chin, and most of all he's more proven against much greater fighters than Usyk has fought, especially at HW.
