Explain the animosity between Khan and Brook.

Khan refused to let him to his VIP section at crystals in London back in 07ish Brook lampooned him each time he got knocked out, Khan made statements saying Kell was homosexual even before the rumours etc etc.

Also these two were at the same weight and British one did much better financially then the other so there is a hint of jealousy.

What I don’t understand is why Carl Froch hates Khan? I heard khan went on one date with his now wife which I believe is absolute horse sh*t but even if he did that’s not a reason to have that much hate towards someone which Froch clearly does.

 

Brook has a chip on his shoulder because for whatever reason, invented or otherwise, Khan ignored or swerved fighting him. Brook has a very high Matchroom/Sky-inflated opinion of himself which makes it even worse.

Khan is a half-celebrity-half-boxer these days and that winds up Brook even more; if Khan loses he'll get over it and do something else. If Brook loses he's destined to end up the size of Prince Naseem and three times as annoying.

I personally don't think Khan gives two hoots for Brook and will play it up for the cameras this next month; his respect for Brook as a boxer is probably genuine. For me it's been brook pushing this all along as it's his classic Matchroom UK cash-out fight since none of the US networks were bothered enough to give him a pay day.

 

Let's hope so mate, I may well be wrong. It just reeks of two finished boxers going through the motions for me.

The fight should've been made years ago when everyone wanted it and when they were both in there pomp. Khan however kept moving the goal posts and even now the fact he's still made sure the fight is at 149 with a rehydration clause shows how tragic he is.
