Probably accurate, I could see Whyte coming out with 4 wins. Even Tua would be a winnable fight for Whyte; he was well down on the scorecards late when he stopped Maskaev, Rahman 1 (gift stoppage) and Oquendo. Even the Izon fight was a very competitive late stoppage. He lost to Rahman the 2nd time, lost to Byrd and didn't stop a number of vulnerable journeymen while in and around his prime.

Does anyone really care that much about this clown, to grade him vs fighters from an earlier decade. Really now.

Depends on the tactics and what year in the 90's he fights.

Has a chance against Elder George.

Tries to smother George, he getting knocked the spark out. He would need to fight like Tommy Morrison (Scared to death) did.

    2-8 losses at best.

Morrison was knocked out by Bent in the 1st round.

I don`t think Morrison`s hook was quicker than Whyte`s and Tommy certainly didn`t have the head movement to evade Whyte`s hook anyway.

Moorer was far more skilled than 90% of heavyweights in the 90`s, he was far better than Morrison and Mercer was just a crude brawler.

Tommy most certainly had a quicker hook, he had some really fast hands. His head movement is much like Whyte's is, basically nonexistent.

Parker is light years better than Bent who was completely out-classed by Hide, Whyte is far better than most fighters that lasted more than 3 rounds v Mercer and along with Lewis would be the hardest puncher than Mercer would have faced, he would knock out Cooper and would have done far better v Foreman, Bowe and Holy than Cooper did.

Its difficult for me to see Whyte beating most of the names on here. I say this as someone who is pretty neutral on Whyte. Morrison is probably his best bet, Moorer was vulnerable as well but its not like he's a journeyman.

I voted 6-4. People are going to vote against Whyte as they hate him here, but he's had a pretty good career so far.

I think in the 90s, (and I am assuming 95 Tyson here), he only loses to Lennox, Holyfield, Bowe and Tua. I could see him losing to Tyson or beating Bowe, though.

Fact is most posters are weary of you creating threads on Whyte. I think I'll keep stopping by to remind you.

Err, even when I was off the forum Whyte was still getting plenty of attention. Even myself. He gets talked about a lot! Some threads go hundreds of pages. Popular guy no doubt.
