The second one had no clue about boxing. But the first one did prettey decent, tbh, he looks quite good. EDIT: Ok, I rewatched the video again paying attention to the speaker. The first one is Steve Little, he was a world champion. Lol, it makes sense. I dont know why I thought they were amateurs. Well, the one in green definetly does not look like very good anyway.
Very very impressive considering was this before bernard turned professional. He boxed amatuer...went to prison came out then turned pro...is that his story. Either way he looks accomplished even at this stage. He,d beat most of the guys kicking around today even there imo. Lot of skills been lost along the next generation it seems.
I highly doubt it was before hopkins turned pro. His skills are too polished. And in the 90s he was already pro I think. just checked, in 1990 he was already pro, and in mid 90s he was already champion. Those skills are not amateur skills. Not even good amateur skills. EDIT: Damn. I would kill the very satan with my bare hands if that would allow me to go back to the 90s. **** the world today, it's pure crap.
People say in reddit it was in 1991, hopkins was 10-1-0 it seems This content is protected If that's the case, anyway, still a very young pro. Amazing skills for such an inexperienced fighter
Idk. I think theyre amatuer fights, and the date of this fight could be off. Still, you can see that he had the skills.
Funny you should say that, Satan is behind it! Back to Hopkins, the guy with the microphone said Hopkins fought on the undercard of Tyson vs Ruddock.
I'm sure the commentator/MC said Hopkins boxed on a Tyson undercard at some point. Must have been pro.
