Because Pat Barrett made it up after the fight and then the lie began to circulate This content is protected
It wasn't The story has changed multiple times and it's all there to be seen on interviews At first it was he injured it on the pads warming up pre fight Now they're saying it was injured weeks before The best one I seen was when an interviewer asks Lydon if he thinks it's gonna be an easier fight this time. Lyndons like no, it's probably gonna be even harder this time etc etc. The interviewer goes, well I meant because this time the right hand will be in play. You can see Lyndon think oh **** I forgot the lie and then he tries to style it out The reason the right barely landed was because of what Yarde was doing, not because of an injury
Only just managed to watch the press conference from yesterday . Is there a more fake person in boxing than Tunde ? Has he no self awareness at all ? Haha I feel embarrassed for him every time he opens his mouth why does he try to make himself sound like some intellectual wise man with every question he answers ? im not sure how the rematch goes I think with the right guidance and team behind him Yarde has the potential to win this rematch in good fashion . But without knowing what goes on In the gym with Tunde I’m guessing the adjustments that yarde should be working on to get past the jab and close the distance haven’t been done with this clown in charge . when he was asked about Arthur’s jab his answer unless he’s an expert at leading us to believe he hasn’t got a clue which I doubt !! He sounded like he seriously hasn’t got a clue!
Arthur always looks and sounds drained to me, like he's just gotten out of bed ten minutes ago. But I agree. Think they're both tight at the weight.
I was thinking exactly the same mate without looking at the last weigh in he didn’t look as filled out to me.
He's a naturally nervous guy, doesn't have self belief. I think this fight will be excellent and end with Yarde stopping him. Don't think it goes the distance either way
