MTK Global: Isaac Lowe vs. Luis Alberto López Vargas & Charles Edwards vs. Jacob Barreto RBR

10-8 López yet AGAIN, this one coming as they exchanged right hands, Lowe getting his in flush but paying for it... López now off to a 20-16 start. Wonderful for the Mexican, disastrous for the Lanc.

 

Much improved third round for Lowe, very impressive bounceback for someone that suffered consecutive 10-8's off the bat ...staying light on his toes, circling a half-step quicker than López to keep him from squaring up, scoring body shots and preemptive strikes 1-2s and then strategically tying up as he falls in...but López still with the hardest and most effective stuff, burying uppercuts into Lowe's ribs and smashing him into the ropes with lancing rights and hooks.

There are irrational fallacies you could fall into with scoring here - giving Lowe the "better than he was doing relative to earlier" benefit of the doubt, or giving López the "he was in control and the other guy needs to seize the momentum with something big" benefit of the doubt...but correct scoring requires an eye for nuance.
