Probably a pill popper who bumped into Sr. at a trap house buying drugs. She probably did the “exam” in exchange for a bag of dope and polished Senior’s knob for no extra charge. Aside from zero credibility of her diagnosis, it’s not a bad deal.

C'mon Serge, you can tell from the pic the boy had trouble breathing. LOL

Sounds like a crock to me. He certainly did not appear labored when chasing Kambosos and throwing those haymakers in rd 1. He also never appeared to have trouble breathing at any time in the fight. I call bull****.

Absolute Idiots posting in this thread lmao

This should not be used as an excuse because it didn't hinder his actual performance. Lopez lost fair and square and this medical condition had nothing to do with it.

    That being said -

Lopez's condition is real from an actual doctor and it is likely from Lopez cutting so much weight and trying to regain it in a small time frame, stretching his esophagus, probably creating a tear, creating opportunities for air to collect in the chest and neck according to the doctor. This is 100% Lopez's fault for being a weight bully. He looked huge for his weight class and he should be looking to fight at light welter/welterweight asap

Not everything is a conspiracy. Do some research

It seems obvious he wasnt close to 100%. Thats a more legit injury than folks getting cleanup operations after a fight and years after folks drone on about it. This one is memorable for being unique.

But we judge what happened in the ring regardless. And he lost.

Its starting to seem that with every epic upset, we get some epic excuses as to why the guy favored to win lost the fight. Smh

Just excuses to why he lost. He’s known for a longtime he was asthmatic. If he would have won this would never be out. It’s a tough sport that not anyone can do or accomplish. Win, lose, or draw he’s respecting for even entering the square circle. Just accept the loss

The real interesting thing about that article is that he only had $20k in pocket before the fight and had to drop Joey due to the expense.

Apparently he’s supporting his whole family… maybe those bums (incl Sr) should get off the couch and work instead of relying on handouts from the young kid.
