I agree Hunt is frustrating to watch. Very good athletically but a bit lacking in overall polishing. Has no inside game and I swear at times he was wandering, looking around the outside the ring. Kite is difficult guy to overcome if you aren't a 3 mins fighter.
It put me to sleep literally, that one. I got through it but fell asleep during the next one which was actually a decent fight from memory. Good thing I hit 'record' at the start of the show. Woke up at 3am & watched all the action I'd missed.
I think Huni's next fight against Joe Goodall (who can punch) is a very dangerous one for him. Goodall has been over in the US sparring with the likes of Jared Anderson & will come in prepared. Huni's coming in off hand surgery & a layoff. He really should have had a tune-up somewhere first. One of the reasons Huni isn't having a tune-up is b/c they will want to sell his fights as PPVs from now on & tune-ups don't cut it. That could be a risky strategy early on. They're talking 7 fights for Justis next year. If the opponents are sourced locally, Big Daddy will presumably be one of them.
Yeah Zerafa is a different level but I still give Hardman a good shot as he has been very active. I know he is the weight below but I reckon Wade Ryan v Hardman would be a fire fight.
I have to admit even though I can’t stand him as a fighter Horn Dog was alright as a color commentator
you heard a rumour? lol they were talking about it on air last night. not to mention its been in the media for a week, pmsl.
browne was ordinary last night imo. his strategy was to block punches with his head and hope his opponent hurts their hands and gets tired? lol. for the few punches he did throw lucas could barely land a punch for the first few rounds. his jab and right bomb are what wins him fights but he took forever to use them effectively. gallen beats last nights version of browne by round one ko again if they fight. and to think that gallen says the that the only fighter he won't face is willis meehan but most laughed at me on here just recently cause i said willis meehan would knock browne out.
George spoke really well on the DAZN telecast. Respectful of Haney, concise and to the point and very comfortable in his own skin. Looked like he was inside Devin's head already without really even trying.
Flanagon vs masson fight for Aust Cruiser belt was one of best local fights i watched in years last night…. Full fights On ace boxing tv utube channel, if u got a hour to kill is actually worth a watch…. Massive resepect to Flanagon, troo tough Aussie battler with an unusually “unpadded” local carear…. He been in the ring with some tough tough guys over his career…
