Why are we bothered about the 4 kings when only 1 of em is legit? I give teo a lot of **** but he did beat loma. But with the caveat that he wasnt the better fighter even in his win.

Let's be real here, if teo gave loma a rematch... teo would no mas his way up to 140. Same goes for the other 3 pretenders. There isnt a fighter in that division who could take loma on his best day as a 33 year old. I might even take kambosos over all 4 tbh, but i agree i might be a prisoner of the moment here.

Just give back the belts to the matrix... its all but inevitable at this point.

Garcia leaves his chin high in the air a lot, especially when throwing his left hook. It's not a matter of if but when he gets caught for that.

Only Lopez has a major win. The rest have done nothing. It’s a joke to label these guys the 4 kings. Trying to build hype to a division.

All of them get spanked by Josh Taylor.

I actually think Haney is the best of the four. His jab is superb. Everything else is lacking (especially power) and his chin looks suspect, but there's still time to improve.

What I hate the most is Teofimo fanboys claiming he'd beat Josh Taylor. Living in cloud cuckoo land. He couldn't even manhandle a smaller Kambosos, so what is a guy who is naturally larger going to do to him? Teofimo is an overrated joke with an embarrassing father as trainer.

    Tank has improved a bit,
and he's probably the most well rounded at the moment. But he hasn't faced anybody significant yet, other than LSC who looked like an ant in comparison when they fought. I don't think Tank has the guts to go through hell against Taylor or Prograis, or even Jose Ramirez.

And then we get to the Instagram King himself. Nobody does it better. He's in the hall of fame all right. The Instagram hall of fame that is. Ryan Garcia. Where do we even start with him? He got dropped by Luke Campbell, and as much as I like Luke, he was never a massive puncher. Ryan clearly has good stamina and a decent punch, but not much else going for him. He'll struggle at higher weights. I honestly rate Teofimo higher, and that's hardly a compliment cause I never rated Teofimo highly to begin with.

Haney > Tank > Teofimo > Instagram king

I think Haney makes it to HOF. That's my prediction. His jab is a killer.

I pretty much agree with all your critiques even though I have them in a different order. Could be wrong about Kingry, just a gut feeling based on intangibles puts him up alongside Haney for me. López will never rise to where he was post-Lomachenko again IMO...and David's exposure is high on my list of boxing events to look forward to. :sisi1

Yeah, my problem with Lopez is that 140lbs is a dead end for him. Totally agree that Teo's peak has already passed by.

Maybe I'm being a bit harsh on Instagram king. Can't stand him though.

yeah it's a real indictment on the state of boxing when the best fighters/promoters are allowed to pick and choose their way to an 8 figure bank account without fighting each other, but it's the federations that allow this to happen.
he got out if jail in the barrios fight, but moving up two divisions to fight a guy 6" taller than him was still an impressive win.

I think Tank is the most dangerous of the lot but he has a lot of miles on the clock and his "prime" could be very short

If they all actually fought each other and took a couple of L's it would have been better financially and legacy wise than if they avoid each other and look bad/lose to so called "lesser opposition". They could have locked the division and basically fought each other and rematches with soft touch tune ups in between over the course of 3-4 years and made insane money

    I voted Tank and Teofimo.

I strongly feel Tank will be HOF-worthy. He has the skill set to be, it’s just a shame that Floyd has been putting him in such risk-averse matchups so far.

Teofimo still has the potential to be HOF-worthy: Kambosos deserved his win don’t get me wrong, but part of it was Teofimo’s overconfidence, overlooking Kambosos. If Teo’s arrogant mindset doesn’t change, and he continues to be unwilling to part with his father, that’s a big problem.

Haney might be HOF-worthy. His lack of power is an issue and I’m not sure his chin holds up against the big power punchers, but he is a very good boxer, especially for his age.

Garcia won’t be HOF-worthy. He has the speed and power but lacks the discipline and mentality.

Shakur Stevenson is more likely than end up in the HOF than these guys.

With a few more years of experience, I can see him going to 135 and fending off all these guys. By that time, Loma will likely be near retirement and none of the current guys at 135 is as talented as he is.

Why? Shakur is at 130 and barely stepped up in his last fight.
