Haney put on a masterclass

Yeah, Diaz problem was he was too complacent. He didnt take enough risks, that he desperately needed to win the fight. But at least he didnt make excuses! I had it 116-112 Haney. Hes got a good shot against Tank and Kambosos, but imo he loses to both.

 

Diaz had success when he pushed the pace, his problem was he just didnt do enough. He let Haney dictate the pace of the fight, which screwed him over in the end. I like Haney but hes not the best at 135.

 

Same score as me. Good performance from Haney.

 

Never seen JoJo fight before this. Does he always look so slow and amateurish.

 

No.Haney was very good tonight and made JOJO very gunshy.

 

Haney should be able to knock out the likes of Diaz, but he couldn't. He won his last 2 matches by points. Haney is not that good, he will be knocked out soon.

 

Same as 2 judges, I had it 9-3 Haney. It was a good performance from him, but he still has a lot to work on(which is perfectly normal for a 23 year old).

B2B fights against Linares and Diaz has been very good matchmaking by Hearn, both for Haney to gain experience against different styles and to get him wins against top10 lightweights without much of a risk to lose.

Let’s see him against Kambosos in front of 80k Aussie fans next.

 

Nobody has ever put Diaz on the floor, never mind stopped him.

 

Masterclass is a big word. However I did like the consistent body attack and poise showed by Haney

 

Jojo could've had 3-4 rounds. He hurt him a few times specially to the body. And Jojo was feather fisted at feather weight

Fk off .. laughable.. he was backed up all night by a feather fisted featherweight and hit with ease… you must have the lowest standards on this forum if you think that was a masterclass… I was actually more impressed with Diaz considering he clearly Doesn't have the natural attributes of a lightweight.. he was actually beating the snot out of Haney at times he's just fortunate Diaz can't crack an egg

 

If Tank lands the type of punches that Diaz was landing on Haney, Haney is getting slept...

 

I must of watched a different fight every time he got hit looked like it stung and that's from a blown up featherweight whose not exactly known for being a big puncher
