If these guys ever fight, it’s going to be in Australia. Haney isn’t going to win on the cards if it is a close fight AND he’s not going KO Kambosos. Haney couldn’t KO a plodding featherweight with T-Rex arms last night. Shot ancient Linares hurt him and I think Kambosos is a much tougher opponent than Linares at this stage.

Haney is a huge LW with Featherweight power and powder puff punches. George said he wants to see how the top LWs do in their upcoming fights before making a decision but I bet his team was burning up the phone lines after seeing how beatable Haney looked last night. George isn’t a passive basic featherweight and I think he will give Haney big problems if they fight next year.

Fact is, Haney can and probably will go all the way up to 147, just like Diaz is very capable of going as far as 140. However on this night, they both weighed in at the proper weight and there was no size disparities. Haney was taller but Diaz was thicker. That's like saying Mayweather was a natural super featherweight and Pac was a natural flyweight. It don't hold water. I don't know what fight you was watching but Haney was never wobbled. Stop listening to the commentators and watch the fight. Just because Linares had him rocked don't mean nothing. He still won. Just like Mosley had Mayweather rocked real good for a round and a half. That's boxing. People using Teo as a measuring stick to show how good Kambosos is but Teo is an offensive fighter. When Loma decided to fight, he was punching holes through Teo's defense. Kambosos beating Teo don't prove to me that he is the best thing since sliced bread. Haney would be no where around for the shots that Teo was getting hit with.

kambosos is incredibly limited as a fighter. The only reason Teo lost that fight is because he's was an idiot with an idiotic plan. Teo only pumping his jab and nothing else would easily UD kambosos and maybe even KO him late. But well, and idiot is what an idiot is.

Kambosos would spend 12 round looking for haney and trying to connect that telegraphed hail-mary that will never connect and losing every single one of those 12 rounds in the process.

Dumbest statement I heard all day. Belts don't make a fighter, Teo had the same belts. I thought you knew.

My reference is not to Diaz as being a mega puncher but rather in protest to people saying that Haney is packing glass. I don't think so. I think he has a decent chin.

Haney had a 3" reach advantage over Diaz which was a real issue, as Diaz never tried to 1) jab with him or 2) time a punch after Haneys jab. You may have noticed Haney drops his hands when he throws the jab, otherwise he just waves it around like an old style Russian boxer.

I agree with you that Diaz never wobbled Haney but he did land a few decent punches where you could see Haney blinking real hard. Linares certainly had Haney on rubbery legs.

A three inch reach advantage is not an advantage if a fighter don't know how use it. Everybody Pac fought had a reach advantage over him. ( Just about ). Haney did drop his hands later in the fight but that is because he knew he could and there is nothing about the way Haney fights that is remotely Russian.

Only in the way he waves his left jab around, like the old Soviets did. Otherwise no, of course he's not a Russian type boxer. A 3 " reach advantage was an advantage over Diaz for the reasons I've noted above IMO.

You might be right here. I don't think teo recovered from the first round kd.

if GK hits him with that shot he got teo with in the first round its a KO haneys chin is really not very good.

You thought that was dumb? You should hear what I say after 10 beers. Lol.

To the point though, belts are important but they aren’t always a sure fire guide to where a fighter is at, you’re right, but when Kambosos has 5 and Haney has one sent over to him via email some dickhead like me is gonna bring that up.

Actually no. It’s prize fighting, if you can find me a fighter that doesn’t wanna win belts sure call me a dumb ass. But you can’t and won’t. What a ****ing stupid thing to say, get over yourself.
