Ruiz has a better chin than Louis. The right hands Ruiz ate before landind his left hook on Joshua would have kept Louis down.
At least AJ had the courage to get in the ring with GOAT 6'3 southpaw mover Usyk; Louis stated that he would never fight a southpaw after getting schooled by a light heavyweight southpaw in sparring: https://news.google.com/newspapers?nid=1243&dat=19581104&id=3m5YAAAAIBAJ&sjid=BPgDAAAAIBAJ&pg=5420,6133112&hl=en
AJ beats Louis . The old guy who was broke working as a greeter at a Vegas casino he could beat him probably. The peak Louis destroys AJ early by brutal ko. Huge China choped muscle man against a dominant HW champ. Is this a joke ?
Louis had far better movement than AJ and was quick all round however AJ`s size and reach might have been too much, Louis couldn`t have taken his power, however was a similar height to Ruiz and fought well onthe inside with quick hooks just like Ruiz did when he destroyed AJ.
In Joshua’s current mental state I wouldn’t be surprised if he panicked and was taken out very early. Louis was a fast starter and an intimidating presence in the ring. Tough men like Baer, Galento and Schelming admitted they were terrified getting in the ring with him.
Yeah, but AJ did not employ a strategy that caused Ruiz to need to be heavy. Wasn't leaning or trying to bully him. I think JL would do as well or better than Ruiz.
Louis was actually fast on his feet when needed until he was well past his best. You can see in the likes of his fight with Max Baer.
Given what we've seen from AJ's chin, I'd say that he's well within the scope of Louis to beat. Louis could really crack and I think he's got a fair speed edge. That said AJ is not that bad technically, he's got a fair fighting brain and his huge size and power count for a great deal. Given the stylistic matchup and the fact that Louis wasn't that hard to land on, I'd lean towards AJ. But there's not a lot in it. It could well happen that Louis lands a solid one early, shakes Joshua up and then blitzes him with his combination punching.
