Fury already signed to fight Joshua last summer and then went back on it. He has more pull outs than he does fights.

Anyone trusting him on his word even with a contractual agreement behind him is an idiot.

One way or another that situation should be sorted by Feb.

Whether it was Whyte or anyone else it would be outrageous for them to not get a fight vs the winner because of a side deal done with AJ.

If mandatory defences are not called then there is no point in anyone trying to put themselves into mandatory positions.

I would be surprised if he did but it would be a very smart move both for his career and financially if he was to get the first shot at the winner.

He could have a couple of quick fights to try out any new tactics etc with new trainer and build some confidence.

Even without the step aside money it's not like Joshua will be out of pocket with an interim fight. Sell out O2 and 500k+ PPV buys. Get a win under his belt then fight the winner.

I can't see him stepping aside.

He gives it all the talk about warrior mentality and legacy........ so unless he's speaking out of his arse he won't step aside.

Is bob arum and whoever else involved willing to pay out that kind of money?could all be bs from them tbh but if it's a serious offer then he should consider it.

Makes complete sense for Joshua to step aside if he is then fighting the winner of the fight.

He can bash up Dave Allen level opponent in the mean while, gain a bit of confidence then try to fluke his way to victory over the big boys.

    Everyones a winner.

It is already a joke based on the man who occupies the position. On a 1 fight winning streak against an old man.

There is no evidence that Usyk wants AJ to step aside. What would be Usyk's incentive?

That is exactly what I think.

No contract/agreement can stop Usyk or Fury retiring which means the belts would end up going 4 different ways and AJ would be screwed.

AJ is still a big draw. It is unlikely the winner would turn down that kind of payday against a man they would be hotly favoured to beat.

At first it was impossible, no way would we step aside no matter what. Now the story is slowly changing, now they are in talks to do just that

    Let's see what happens

I think he’d love to step aside but knows he can’t. If he think he can beat Usyk then fight him next. Undisputed is there the fight after.

    Pretty clear here.

13min on. Its the same message AJ gave kugan. A huge amount of money and a deal where AJ doesn't miss out on fights. Without both it won't even be entertained.
