I think Tommy Fury is in big trouble against Jake Paul.

Surely the Fury family are approaching double figures on pull outs now?

I like the Furys but you can pretty much flip a coin to decide if anything they say is true.

Whether the injury is legit or not, they'll have weighed up how much a loss would damage Tommy's 'celebrity' career - Molly's too. He's only 22 he could easily go another 3 or 4 years without fighting anyone with a pulse while hammering instagram. No doubt there'll be another social media 'star' in 2025 who he can get a payday from.

When has he displayed any symptoms of this recently? He seemed fine when his dad was acting like a teenager to Jake Paul.

    Tyson Fury 25 November 2021:
“Tommy could have his worst night ever and still beat Jake Paul. He could probably turn up with a broken rib, a broken left hand, two left feet, his clothes on back-to-front and the flu and still beat Jake Paul. That's how confident I am."

    Embarrassing stuff.

It's hardly ridiculous. Many top boxers offer to train fighters and if you're any sort of fighter with ambition you'd reject the offer unless that boxers trainer will be involved also.

I'm not Tyson cannot offer him anything, what I'm saying is Tyson is NOT a boxing trainer. Just because you are a good boxer doesn't mean you're a good trainer.

From the videos I've seen, the best Tyson can offer him is motivation, training schedule and tips, but not proper management.

Tyson is known to be inconsistent with his own ****ing training, never mind others!!!

I think it was deliberate. When they signed up they thought there is a zero percent chance of losing. Doubts begin to creep in as it nears. His career is over if he loses. He is still a novice. Paul probably isn’t as bad as you would think.

Lot more to lose from Fury’s side, and his team have made the call.

    That is my take anyway.

To be fair to him that can be easily done when you spend the amount of time that he does looking in the mirror and you’ve got a brain the size of a Pea.

This is getting more and more ridiculous. When this fight was announced I thought I'd seen it all but the blithering idiots that are Tommy, John and Tyson have found a way to create new levels of weirdness. Let's face it, John was a nothing boxer and a nothing criminal, Tommy is just your average roided up lad, Tyson is a fantastic boxer with a lot of it born out of his freak ogre like physique that makes him an absolute nightmare. None of them are that clued up upstairs but they all lack awareness so two of the three of them can just talk and talk and talk and talk, the contradictions and hypocrisy are getting too much now.

I think Tommy may have bottled it mentally. He's never seemed that at ease with himself. Say what you like about Jake Paul, but he has 100% confidence in his ability (whether in boxing or anything else) and I think that may have rattled Tommy a bit. I could've seen Tommy completely crumbling under the pressure if it went ahead.

In theory, that's all Tommy should need to fight against a YouTube boxer. This wasn't him going into a world title fight.

Jake Paul has ended up being absolutely brilliant for boxing, hats off to the lad, he'll fight anyone, anywhere, any time, a true fighting man, especially when compared to this jacked up Love Island piece of posing meat.

I read someone on this board say that for the sake of boxing they hope Fury won. For the sake of boxing, the guy who has constantly been training for the last couple of years should win, and his name sure ain’t Fury!

Of the two Jake Paul is the boxer, Jake Paul is also the businessman, the personality etc. I'm not sure what Tommy Fury is really, I don't watch Love Island but from what I gather he was just a bit of a mute on there, just going with the flow and playing the easy game of being the nice guy. Since then what? He's beat a few knockover jobs, a few paid losers. There's just nothing to him and disrespect to the lad but he's just your average groomed kid, ten a penny, you'll find a Tommy Fury in every Wetherspoon's up and down the country, the lad needs some charisma.
