I think shakur will surprise alot of people of just how competitive he would be against loma. Thats another fight to add to the wish list.
I, too, predicted that Shakur to be Loma's opponent in the future. It's an exciting and interesting fight. But Loma is now committed to 135 and he is fighting to get his mandatory to the current holder of WBA (super), WBO and IBF title. So, if I were him, Kambosos would still be the main target. If Kambosos refuses, then get Haney. If both of them refuse, well it is Shakur then.
Since most of you not only seem to have missed it... but are completely unaware it even happened, so here... check it out. This content is protected
@bandeedo brother you are one the more knowledgeable and enlightened posters on this forum. My enquiry question to you is don’t you think there is a real chance Shakur who has been very well tutored would beat Loma? Every time I see him he is getting better and to my eyes like yours he is the real deal. I think Shakur is going to be very difficult for anyone to beat.
Didn’t Shakur spar Loma? It’d be a really interesting fight. I think Loma is a little too quick for Shakur. There’s not a huge size difference since Shakur isn’t an exceptionally big 130lber. I’m not sure Loma would take this fighte right now anyways since he is still trying to get those belts back. I’d rather see Shakur vs Valdez.
Would prefer Stevenson vs Valdez, but I think this would be an interesting scrap. Young legs should not be dismissed out of hand, especially when they are attached to a skilled fighter. Loma at his best would handle Shakur, but now I think it would be competitive.
Size difference? He's much naturally bigger than Loma despite only having moved up from 126 not long ago This content is protected This content is protected Check this out. Look at the size of him standing alongside Jaron ''Super Boots'' Ennis This content is protected I keep telling you guys even the 130 pounder champs are significantly bigger than Loma and that when he moves up in weight unlike so many of these other multiple weight champions, he's fighting opponents who are way bigger, bigger, longer and more powerful than him, not ones he's bigger than, the same size as or slightly smaller like many others.
For me it's dumb to put that label but you know better.Time will tell.Shakur wasn't impressed from that idea. His words about Arum not wanting to lose Valdez, that he understands what is what, that he doesn't see any need to fight Lomachenko. For me it's clear as day why Shakur is talking that Arum is hiding Valdez from him, and why in that moment Arum is offering him Lomachenko.
Well he only moved to 130 this year and said he is very happy to fight Loma at 130. Everyone says Loma is a natrual 130 so why does he not move down to130?
Loma is significantly more skilled than these pussies. Can you imagine these guys having the balls to fight at their own weight let alone at a weight class they're outsized in?!
Moving up one, two or more divisions and becoming multiple weight champions defeating fighters you're still bigger than or about the same size as>>moving up one, two or more divisions and becoming a multiple weight champion defeating ones who are way bigger than you Oh look how dominant fighter A is against fighters he's bigger than or roughly the same size as who don't hold physical advantages or huge ones over them Fighter B who dares to be great by moving up to fight giants all the time who hold huge physical advantages over them is a hype job bum
