Why didn't "Terrible" Tim Witherspoon ever fight Tyson, Holyfield or Lewis? / Who would've won?

I think he was better than Pinklon overall.. Pinklon had a good jab and if anything performed consistently well, whereas I think Tim underperformed at times because of I don't know what lack of training or insecurities, similar to how he fought the 2nd Bonecrusher fight.. Toney had that in some , and I remember Tim in his corner in the Thomas fight seeming to be insecure asking his trainer how the fight was going.. But Tim at his best had good power and the size to put it all together and more equalizing power than Pinklon, which I think helps him against Mike on the inside. I always worried that he could upset Mike Tyson, yet King I think steered him away from Tim..

If you take three minutes to watch it, you'll know that Tim is lying.

Witherspoon said in the interview I posted that fighters didn`t want to train in King`s camp during the 80`s because they weren`t being paid fairly.

I think it's very likely that focused Witherspoon would last the distance against all 3. Can't see Holyfield stoping him. Tyson and Lewis? Probably, but Tim could also KO Lewis with his patented overhand right which was harder than McCall's or Rahman's right hands IMO. If Lewis and Tyson came unfocused, I think Tim could upset both

Where`s the proof that Tim`s right hand was harder than those rights that knocked Lewis out? Lewis would take Tim`s right hands better than a gassed Bruno did.

Tim had a looping right hand which was surprisingly hard unlike Lewis whose as more direct.

It was Steward that straightened Lewis`s right hand, he trie to land looping rights on Bruno and missed all night and that`s how McAll sparked him, Steward trained McCall to time Lewis`s messy looping overhand right.

Tim did not show his best against shorter fighters... Tyson beats him... all three of them do in my opinion

Only guy getting up three times and losing his teeth while taking a dive. Tim must have been playing 3D chess, the sly cat.

You are thinking of the Bonecrusher Smith II fight claims.

Not sure if anyone said it but the Bonecrusher loss was basically Bonecrusher playing musical chairs with him and taking his spot against Tyson. I feel Tim would've gotten the shot had he beat Bonecrusher (as Bonecrusher ended up getting it). They simply steered Mike at who currently had the belt.

With all due respect to Tim, he lies a lot in those interviews. From the typical "no the guy that knocked me out doesn't hit hard". Just nothing to see in those interviews. He gets stopped by all 3.
