Stupid tweet and wrong. Floyd was unified champion in 4 weight divisions and interestingly he did not put a column for PPV revenues. Wonder why. Also one of Floyd’s victims is Canelo and he has no losses like Canelo.

Floyd is a pathetic person. Money isn't everything. He's still tossing and turning at night because someone is doing well.

The sad thing is that no matter how far Canelo goes (even if he surpasses Floyd in PPV numbers & accomplishments), Floyd will always hold the W over him. If only Canelo had beaten Floyd or never faced him, he wouldn't be in that predicament.

The bigger question is Canelo aware of Moonlights obsession?

Floyd is an insecure man child- although he has a win over the PED cheat. So I don't know why he is giving Clenelo smoke..

Oh because he's an insecure man baby who is no longer in the spotlight.

He wouldn't be getting compared to Floyd if they didn't fight though. He probably wouldn't be the big star of the era either, it would have done wonders for the Charlos.

If he had found a way to win naturally that would have put him on another level entirely.

Canelo can’t pass Floyd because unfortunately there is no Pacquiao or Canelo in his era. Sugar Ray Leonard is viewed how he is because of the accomplishments of the opponents he’s Duran, Hearns, Hagler, Benitez. Roy Jones Jr had Hopkins and Toney. Had Oscar won even just half of his elite matchups (Trinidad, Mosley, Floyd, Pacquiao, Hopkins) then he would be seen in that light also. Pacquiao has Barrera, Morales, Cotto, Marquez, Hatton.

The fighters of today take safe fights instead of building legacies leading up to being picked by Canelo outside of GGG and Kovalev. Lara, Trout, Jacobs, BJS, Smith, Plant, Makabu all have no chance at the IBHOF

If Canelo wins Fighter of this Decade Floyd would have wins over 2 fighters with that accomplishment.

That said Floyd is an insecure attention seeking clown and can’t accept the fact that Canelo is the man right now. Even his compliments are condescending and backhanded. He can’t accept the fact that boxing has moved on without him.

Fraud Floyd and Canelo are both cherrypicking, card stacking jokes. Biggest pansies in the sport.

If you're a fan of Floyd or Canelo not only are you not a fan of the sport but you're an idiot.

    It's about opportunity.

Canelo was BUILT up as a Mexican superstar at the age of 20 and had Oscar Dela Hoya working overtime to promote him. He's been on the up ever since and been carefully and selectively matched.

Floyd's big chance came when the Oscar fight presented itself; a full ELEVEN years after turning professional.

    Their paths were very different.

Canelo far surpases Floyd when his career is done. That is why Floyd is intensely jealous. He beat a 23 yr old Canelo, well before Canelos peak. Floyd cherrypicked him young to get that W over him. But alas, he now knows it was futile.

Success has many enemies. Successful people make lots of people jealous. It's normal.

Canelo will never have the resume that Floyd has...possibly IF he fights Bivol and Beterviev.
Andrade, Charlo, Munguia...not on the level of Floyds opponents.

Canelo avoids any legit threat and disguises it by going up in weight classes. We've already seen skill can trump size.
