Schmeling was far more skilled than Bent, he didn`t throw any 1-2`s at Hide and I think Schmeling could have beat Hide because he wasn`t naturally that much bigger than Max.

Ali would have been too sharp and fast for most heavies in this era but he didn`t have Usyk`s fundamentals and neither did Frazier who wa more skilled than Fury is.

I like his posts cause I agree with the man. Frankly, I'm amazed on why you people aren't objective enough.
Boxing has evolved, just like any other sport. Each generation learns from the previous one.

Athletic training has mostly evolved. Although obesity has also increased.

What technical skills did the 70s or 40s guys not know, though? Specifically?

You agree with his "advanced movement" bull****? You agree that Bonecrusher Smith moves better than Ezzard Charles?
I'm amazed how you can believe that you are objective in your evaluation. You basically call every single pre-70s HW a scrub. Yet SRR is your GOAT, even though he faced obsolete scrubs.

It's a problem that afflicts people on both ends of the old/modern spectrum.

Both sides will implicitly assume that there's this unbreakable steel wall between heavyweights and lighter, more skilled weights in every gym from 1900 to 1950. Weren't they all learning from the same coaches?

EDIT: Unless you believe that most fighters tend to learn from each other more than coaches (plausible) and that heavyweights tend to spar, learn, and associate only with other heavies (needs citation.)

I would go further than need a citation, and see it's almost trivial to disprove. George Dixon worked with Tom Sharkey, James J Jeffries worked with Tommy Ryan etc.

Most of the top early heavyweights fought lower weight fighters at some point, either with a weight advantage, or before moving up in weight themselves too.

IIRC, there are newsreels of Tunney and
Dempsey sparring with lightweights to improve speed.

Including Dempsey with an old Jack McAuliffe clowning about. Which is pretty neat.

I would just like to point out that he doesn't know the difference between "talk" and "write" (even though this was explained to him multiple times). He equates the criticism towards his horrendous grammar to criticism for how people talk.

Additionally, he says he likes White Bomber because he doesn't insult people even though in the very post he quoted, White Bomber insulted you. And he is known for calling people crazy anytime they disagree with them.

Maybe he writes like that to throw people off the scent.
