Stanionis is a good fighter, i like his chances against Ugas who is very beatable. But he has to push the pace right out the gate and make it a fight. If he lets Ugas do what he wants and dictate the pace Ugas will most likely outbox him. Its a very good fight.
Ugas must be a little disappointed he isn't getting another major payday fight. He could have fought Stanionis before he got the belt. My intuition is that Stanionis will win, but Ugas is all over the map and maybe he'll pull out another good performance.
Another of these fights that's little suspicious to really happen.I hope there would be no injures or Covid, i would like to watch it
It's sad that in a division with Spence , Bud, Ennis, Ortiz and others that this is what the WBA calls a title fight..
Stanionis is at that tier alongside Butaev and above Benn and the like. He's a very good prospect who was inevitably going to get a title shot in the next year or so anyway so I can't complain with this one. A worthy contender getting their shot that they fought an eliminator for is hardly a travesty.
