A few months ago, and he looked amazing, best he has in years, he came damn close to stopping Mikkel LesPierre for the first time.

The common view on the British forum is that he's washed up and it's a joke opponent for Benn.

Do you think Algieri has got more than a puncher's chance tonight? I haven't seen Algieri for a long long time, so have no idea what to expect.

I think he could potentially box rings around Benn. Yeah Conor has improved but not THAT much. He's still quite crude for the level he's supposed to be fighting at.

No, he doesn't have a puncher's chance, but he does have a box his ears off chance. Depending on how well he takes Benn's average power, he could put on a masterclass, and then get robbed.

That would be a good result - it’d make Benn even more dislikable than he is now.

I wouldn't give Chris a punches chance as he can not punch the last time he stopped someone was 2012 he is picking up his last check and is there to lose.
I would however say if he turns up to win he could absolutely school Benn who is very poor imo, he is just a hype job who will get stopped by someone who is top level who can bang.

Right now I'm mentally preparing for all of Eddie Hearn's nonsense stories that we viewers need to pay attention to after Conor Benn's victory tonight.

lol quick question in most sports fans root for athletes from there country but in boxing it seems alot of fans want to see there own countrys fighters lose maybe not all but the majority of the fighters.

Depends on a few things, the fighter's personality, team, how they come across on social media and the way fans talk about them all affect how much support they'll get if you disregard their nationality

I have great respect and support genuine fighting men who take on the best such as Tyson Fury and Josh Taylor.

Find it hard to support the pay per pudding brigade such as Joshua, Whyte and Chisora without an elite victory to their name against a fighter under 40 never mind in their peak. These people feast on puddings and cannot get credit based on their CVs.
