I don't think we'll ever see him in that shape or form again. What a monster.

Definitely up there. Very few heavyweights would be favourite against him. Ali and Lewis.Holmes and Vitali 50-50.

What did he do that was so special? All he did was use feints to set up his shots and hold Wilder`s head in place with his left hand to set up his right.

The precision and subtly of his footwork with his almost predictive active body/head movement. His jab astonishing that night, like a log swinging on a rope. Stamina unfailing. 274 pound man. Lucky to see such a specimen again in my lifetime.

The only thing I can take away is yes the performance was overly spoilerly, only because he had maximum respect for what even a hurt Wilder can do. 3rd bout highlighting that.

Holmes was better than Fury and had a jab that Fury has never faced.

7 rounds to put away a skinny one trick pony basketball player that can barely box. A champion who counts the likes of Molina and Washington amongst his better defences.

Even then it was still down to the trainer to throw the towel in as the fighter was willing to continue. Hardly a groundbreaking victory.

To be the best you gotta beat the best.

Fury just beat Klitschko and Dosser twice.

Not enough. What Fury did until now is not comparable with the careers of fighters like Ali, Holmes or Lewis.

3rd fight is their best fight.
Wilder from 3rd fight is better.
Fury from 3rd fight is better.

Fury was utter crap in the 3rd fight. Fury from fight 2 easily beats Fury from fight 3.

Fury from fight 2 is the best we have seen him considering the only other live body on his resume is Vlad.

I don't think anyone can say that was offensivley impressive considering the meagre punch output that being said he was probibly fitter in that fight and hadn't put the mileage on the clock with the massive weight gain with drinking and drugs.

In conclusion is he the best ever? Nah not really he's like the mythical Tokyo Dougles in that he showed on one night only what he was capable of when fully focussed on the task at hand. Like Douglas on his special night he would be a handfull in a H2H but not unbeatable.

I don`t know what the hell you`re talking about, he won the fight because of Wilder`s dreadful footwork.

Fury was wide open and nearly got knocked out and kept putting all his weight on Wilder by head locking him constantly.

If Wilder had anything more to his game especially better footwork then everyone else might as well retire.

Even Fury didn't have an easy time getting to him...and Fury a bigger man has much better feet.

Wilder has more to him than meets the eye. Hopefully he doesn't retire.

Possibly. That version stomps out Clay for sure, probably makes him quit on his stool again.

But I still think Lennox would have something for his ass. In fact I'm willing to bet $1000 on it. Lennox big enough not to get manhandled, and agile enough to keep the fight in center of the ring
And his power is at least comparable to Wilders, but his boxing ability is far superior, so I still pick Lewis to defeat even THAT version of Fury by KO.

I'd also give Vitali at least a 50/50 chance
