    Yarde was completely exhausted.
So was Montell Griffin, a career LHW.

sure yarde was exhausted......but what got him exhausted?? oh yeah, fighting kovalev. and yes, montell was 5´7 as well. but he was a career light heavyweight! there is a difference. his whole style was based on being way shorter than the opponent. even as an amateur. with canelo, this is not the case.

Yarde gassed himself because Kovalev looked completely finished.
Canelo is only slightly smaller than Griffin, who was a grown man by the time he was fighting for the belt.

Canelo's team says he is too big for 160 but too small for 175. He is basically a regular SMW these days.

At 23/24 he was atleast as big as Golovkin, a career MW. Since then he has only added mass.

I kind of agree in terms of Krusher being the best although GGG would be close although both of those have an asterix.

I thought GGG beat Krusher in the Ams. It's not a fair comparison as his other opponents are in lower weights.

If you put a gun to my head I would go with GGG.

It was a bit of strange fight though as Kova was doing alright but there was a lack of the usual venom in his work.

It looked like a sparring session to be honest but I've not seen the fight recently so I might not be remembering correctly.

It's a good win but like I've just posted Krusher seemed like he was in a sparring session compared to the Yarde fight were he had to dig in and finish Yarde off.

I never once felt he emerged from a fight with Golovkin as the better fighter so I can't throw his name in the hat.

I've only just stopped referring to the rematch as an absolute robbery.

Agree. I thought the second fight was closer than the first but I had GGG winning both.

I think this and the PEDS is why Canelo gets a lot of heat.

It's boxing and bad desicions get made all the time but when someone always gets the rub of the green it just leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

None of Canelos wins have any asterisk to me, at e end of the day the right guy won each time.
But I’d have to say maybe Kovalev as best win out of everybody he’s the most accomplished fighter being only a few fights removed from 3-belt unified LHE champ, dude won all but 30secs vs Yarde, avenged his defeat to Eilder but comprehensively out boxing him, and the vast majority had him beating Ward in fight I, and agree that Ward had to repeatedly low blow to win fight II..
Canelo gets discredited by sad GGG fans who are upset Canelo did what they guy couldn’t or wouldn’t

    Saunders
    Jacobs
    Smith
    Plant

His next win should be over big Charlo or Benavidez. Best in 2 two weight classes impressive, but weight classes. Very Historical. A Makabu win at 190 or is it 200lbs?

Were there any asterisks in the fight against Callum Smith, such as a rehydration clause? If not, I think that’s got to be up there, at least in the top 3.
