You dont think that the 2nd fight with GGG deserves a asterisk? When 30 of the ringside media had GGG winning, 15 had it a draw, and 2 had it for Canelo? Ah, ok.

saunder was past his prime and his best was at 160

khan and cotto were both fighting at a weight class they had no busniess in.
chavez jr only showed up for a paycheck.
that leaves plant, liam smith and jacobs, as his best wins.

 

probably between ggg2 and kovalev. outgutted both. both were expected to ko canelo by the esb protection firm. thats the only azterisk were dealing with now.

 

GGG2 Hands down.

Kova, Plant, Smith, Trout and Sanders are all good mentions.

 

But it's why he also the best opponent Canelo has beaten.

If Canelo really beat GGG it would be GGG by a long shot as the best win. But we all know that the absalute best result you could give for the 2nd fight is a draw. In no way should Canelo be ahead in the series.
