why? he dont want to work anymore? its not like he wouldnt be payed handsomely for the challenge. why does canelo have to determine how far ggg takes his legacy? if you cant ask of ggg what you would ask of other fighters, then you cant compare him to those others. you seem to want everyone to beat ggg in his most ideal circumstances, otherwise it dont count. how about expecting more from him, or admit he never had more.

He didn't by any metric win against Lara or GGG in either fights.

Kovalev was a fix, Jacobs was given a dehydration clause and did next to nothing the first six rounds, Cotto was past it and significantly smaller.

Trouts the only valid win there

Clenelo fans are just outright deranged and stupid. I mean seriously, how dumb can you be to support this fraud? I feel sorry for you guys.

Boxing promoters will always be able to manipulate the game (manufacture careers) when there's such a huge chunk of stupid people who will blindly follow along like sheep

Yeah totally that's what it's all about clean punching - punching arms, elbows, hips and using the inside of your glove to slap.

Clenelos laughing his way to his bank having fooled you lot.

Hopefully one day you'll wake up and realise Canelo is nothing more than a circus act

Him and his team should be hated for what they're doing... Fooling the naive and the mentally deficient. Plain and simple exploitation & manipulation if you think about it

What about, red faced and running, because that's what Canelo did the majority of the fight. When he did stand and fight in the last three rounds he still got out fought 2 of the last three rounds.

He should have lost his unification with Trout, before being schooled by Floyd, then should have lost to Golovkin. He did unify the supermiddleweight division though, no real gifts needed this time. I give him credit for that. He didn't need his miracle working judges for those fights, but I'm sure they were standing by if needed. More than sure.

well i saw him beat both ggg and trout, like many others did. difference is, the judges, the ones at ringside and whos opinion actually matters, agreed with me. had myself and the judges been wrong, he would have no doubt been found out after. instead, he added 2 more divisions and became p4p #1. had trout and ggg actually been better, they too would have showed it after. where are they now?

Actually I'm very sure he could handle moving up and would do quite well, he has the skill, power, experienced and chin, and there isn't exactly world beaters up there. I think GGG would be more powerful as well. Why he hasn't fought Charlo, Andrade, or went up to the ripe for the taking supermiddleweight division, i dont know. The toughest guy outside of Canelo is GGG'S former sparring partner Benavidez.
