facts say the same thing not about who won or didnt it's the movement that matters only no he cant see i keep telling you that ali knew joe tech was bad which is why he copied srr
they dont look at stuff with glasses cause glasses help people they cant see at all or just act like it me and you aren't blind
yea and the odd thing is they always say how Louis not using much energy was good yea it was back then and before his time it would work but if he needed to fight a modern his choice would be to use more energy it's easy to see this to
I'm afraid you're asking for way too much. I hope to see him trying to respond with anything substantial, but I don't have any hope... I appreciate your short, yet efficient summary of Louis style though - you're one of the better ones at that here!
Thanks man! I do think people overlook a lot of Louis' style. He's often simplified to a small pressure fighter with a frightful offense but a bad chin. I don't think it's anywhere near that simple. A straight copy and paste comparison between Arguello and Louis doesn't stick IMO. Louis had lots of Napoles-isms in his style, and while Arguello is a better 'fit', they weren't carbon copies.
So now results don't matter. Only if you look good on film and can use fancy eye pleasing movement. I guess Tyrell Biggs would go 80-0 in Louis era since he has very good movement and is a tall modern sized guy? It doesn't matter that he got destroyed nearly everytime he stepped up taking L after L? By this logic, random guys on Instagram who can do the Ali shuffle should be favored to beat Louis. We're also forgetting the elephant in the room, which is that Morrison's only instance of successfully winning a fight with lateral movement was against a very slow, fat, 40 year old man who he was so scared of that he literally turned his back and ran from at one point. If that's enough to convince you he boxes circles around Louis--despite the fact 99% of the time he fought like an abrasive body building trailer park boy at a bowling alley with leaky defense--then you either haven't watched any Louis fights or you think movement is the end all be all to winning fights (or both). The latter stance is very odd considering Louis beat every slick mover he faced in his era and dominated with his more methodical economic movement...but I guess results don't matter.
well see thats why im separate from you people you gave alexis and said he did good when you know but wont admit he did good cause he advanced like I always said joe would have to do alexis had mutiple changes to the style which you do see that is no opinion he knew he had to like I always say if he didnt he would be destroyed just like the real joe if he came in outdated no opinion its fact same way ali who used srr style added to it cause he knew it was outdated he needed to advance it facts legend magoo
I do, however, think that he has the right idea when he addresses you with the exalted title, "Legend Magoo."
