Keen to hear in detail how SRR's style was "outdated" and exactly how Ali advanced it.

SRR out of date in the 60's let alone today. Who knew.

Just describe it since you are the only one that can ever see such things.

As to Ali’s election of boxing style: -

You make it sound like someone at their hair dresser leafing through a hair style book and then saying “Yeah, I’ll have that one!”

So Ali rejected the “Johnson”, the “Dempsey”, the 137 yo plus “Louis”, even the super fresh “Patterson” BUT suddenly stopped dead in his tracks at the “Ray”, the best modern ‘do. And the “Ray” came with a free wash and blow dry too. No brainer there.

Actually, it is somewhat analogous. You can’t just pick any old hairstyle, well you can but it’s best to pick the one that most SUITS your natural features (attributes), the best styles anchor themselves in inherent gifts.

I believe a young and cocky Joe Frazier also opted for the all too cool “Ray” early in the piece.

Unfortunately it didn’t highlight the true inner beauty of Joe as a fighter .

So Frazier opted for his own custom ‘do, calling it the “Smok’n’ “and that’s when Joe literally began to have everyone falling down around him.

Yes that would be sufficient for sure.

Particularly interested in why this new improved style didn't improve ATG P4P power where as SRR did and also why a great left hook was virtually completely absent where as Robinson sported one of the great left hooks in history. Also where was the vaunted and debilitating two fisted body attack in the new more advanced style? Was such great body punching an actual disadvantage and therefore cast out in the newer more advanced boxing of the 60's forward?

Sometimes people can just be wrong. Just because people disagree, it doesn't mean that one of them is lying.

I'm not accusing you (or myself) of lying. But it is possible one of us is wrong.

He probably sounds like Eminem in Rap God when he speaks, so I don't think commentary is a wise idea.

Silly John, body punching is out dated. Especially for heavyweights. You haven't noticed hardly anyone in the top 10 does it now? If it was useful you'd see a lot more dedicated body punchers in the division. Ali was way ahead of the curve and discarded that ancient skill of Robinsons.

If he talks the way he writes he probably sounds less like Eminem and more like an intoxicated Rich Homie Quan who fell off the bed too many times as a kid.

Well, now I won't be able to read his posts the same way again. Not that I could do it beforehand, but you get the point.

it does mean a person is lying when the vid shows otherwise cause I did prove to you joe moved outdated compared to jers you act blind to that I dont know why

you keep asking what did joe not do as if you cant see when it's there to see unless you have had vision jers moves around way smoothly and he uses mutiple angles while moving front and back which joe never did

joe movement was basic come forward

We might be reaching bedrock, unfortunately.

I already explained why we disagree with you about Joe being a bad boxer. We saw the same film, and interpreted it differently than you did.

In fact, over 90% of people who voted in the poll in the other thread, including almost all of the people who actually box, said that Louis was very skilled by modern standards. Your answer is that the entire forum except you and White Bomber are lying. This is very unlikely.

Your other point about Louis not dancing like Walcott was already addressed above. Louis is a puncher trying to stay in range to throw combos. George Crowcroft and Glass City Cobra explained how he did it. And it worked, since he left Walcott unconscious.
