    Why not give natural 126 pounder some credit after that performance at LW division ? How many champions did he need to beat to earn his respect ?

    Of the 11 world champions Loma's fought in just 18 fights 5 of them were lightweights who were all champions at that weight and way bigger (heavier), way longer or both than him and he isn't doing that old trick of dragging fighters up from lower divisions who were world champions at lower weights. He's beating them at the weight they're at their strongest and best and one he's at his weakest.

    And Campbell lost a razor-close SD to a prime Linares on a GB card which The Ring scored for Luke

    Are not only way bigger, heavier and longer than Loma but they're all big punchers or KO artists for 135 and obviously power is magnified when you're facing opponents who are 7-15lbs heavier than you

    And Pedraza who had 10-11lbs on Loma can punch when he wants to

    I don't think many realize how difficult it is to overcome these huge physical disadvantages especially given the level of opposition he's doing it against, fighters who know how to use their length and have obviously studied his fights against other much bigger and longer opponents who used their range to varying degrees of success against him to pick up tips, and he's only able to do this for one reason - due to his insane skill level and for him to be one of the best defensive fighters in the game whilst also being one of the most aggressive fighters and fighting this level of competition and giving away such huge physical advantages and facing so many huge/big punchers who hold these physical advantages over him is crazy.

    He definitely stood in front of Commey way longer than I've ever seen him do. He also spent a bunch more time circling left.
    I might be reading too much into it but I thought it looked like he was tinkering with his style or fighting that way to make a point or something. I don't know, I'm pretty high.
