He has had 3 fights combined at 140 and 135 against very good fighters.

 

Pretty much agree with most of this but, , the Salido fight decision was not great imo , having said that so what if an upcoming fightr(any) loses a fight , its a learning curve, we all learn by our mistakes, well OK excluding Isal lol, so its no big deal as long as you rectify it at a later date....

He is elite, but look at the heights you've place him at. Pac's competition far eclipses him. They are incomparable. Thurman is arguably better than anyone on Loma's resume and had a size as well as youth advantage. Although Thurman wasn't his best at the time, he would still KO the likes of Campbell and take Walters to school if they were the same size.

Ray Leonard beating Hearns is in another stratosphere to Loma, bigger, more skilled and harder hitter than anyone on Loma's resume. Practically everyone on Loma's resume would struggle to make it past the 4th round against Hearns. Many won't see the second round. Linares would need a stretcher after the 1st punch lands.

FAB 4 would all destroy Loma's best opposition with ease P4P. Campbell couldn't get past a 23 YO Garcia. At 23 Hearns almost beat a prime SRL. Campbell will continue to fight smaller fighters, Hearns went all the way up to light heavyweight.


Loma looks the goods with the eye test, but has no wins to push him to that status. Although the schooling of Rigo (undersized), was impressive. 400 AM wins and two rings places him as a legendary Olympian & amatuer fighter. He is the GOAT in that category.

However that doesn't automatically place him in the best of all time Pro Fighters.

 

Tank knocks him out most likely.

Man I can’t even lie as a fan I’m disappointed in Floyd the promoter I understand money and all that but, Floyd at 21 was fighting Genero Hernandez one of the greatest SFWs of all time meanwhile Tank almost 30 and can’t even fight a top 5 guy in his division.
Stuff like this is what will make people go back and start discrediting him as a fighter, when he was actually fighting ppl.

 

No he was not losing and most importantly Tank closed the show with a spectacular knockout. Tank also knocked out Pedraza which Loma could not do. I know you won’t like to hear this but Tank is better than Loma.
