The thing is, some boxers and their promoters today tend to take a hostage of their belts and avoiding the mandatories. And sometimes go up after finishing the job and make the titles scattered all over the places once again.

Sure, Loma did avoid Haney as his mandatory. But it was not his intention. He was 3 belts holder and would like to complete the unification, and suddenly WBC ordered him to fight mandatory and respectfully strip him into the ever ridiculous 'franchise' title just because he prefer the earlier. Until now, no one knows who is really behind this.

For me, both Haney and Tank fit this type of guys.

Anyway, if Haney is going to fight Loma after he beats Kambosos, well I don't mind to see him to be undisputed champion before proving his worth against Loma.

 

Actually, I'm not too afraid of Tank having the shot. He got nowhere to go. 140 is too big for him. Put him against the likes of Jose Zepeda and I want to see how strong he can take a punch. Besides, Kambosos is underrated and not weak.

The only problem with Tank is probably the corrupt WBA. They are paid to protect him. I know this, because my idol Chris John was the same protected boxer as Tank Davis. And I know for sure how far they would go to protect the boxer which they received payroll from.

 

On second viewing what was noticeable as well was how shellshocked Richard looked throughout the fight… Like he just couldn't believe what was in front of him… You could see him almost doing a Walters but he has too much pride .. and fair play to that but let's be honest I bet it crossed his mind to say **** it on more than one occasion.. he's a great guy and will come again but Loma took it easy at certain points in that fight.. that was obvious

 

Yes, Lopez beat Loma fair and square. The shoulder thing was just an excuse. Lopez beat Loma because he's a STRONGER fighter and his punches have much more effect on him than the guys at 126.

Comparing Loma-Commey-Lopez results is a casual boxing fan thing. Joe Frazier looked horrible against George Foreman, yet beat Ali. Thus Ali must be a worse boxer than Frazier. Simple math, yes?

I've just realised who Commey reminds me of… a smaller version of Charles Brewer.. they are built similar and fight similar… & is there anything better in boxing than watching Loma get into his groove… Round three for example is just pure artistry
