dude Manny and his team avoided Floyd multiple times, when testing was first brought up Freddie roach laughed at it and said they were more concerned about money and after Floyd agreed to everyone of his demands at the last minute they made an issue about testing and pulled out to fight Clottey.. in 2009

afterwards they lied again about agreeing to testing and avoided Floyd to fight Margarito in 2010/11

then after beating Ortiz and Pac-Marquez 3 Mayweather religiously called out manny only for his camp to make excuses about needing to build a stadium and a cut that would heal by May, and famously saying they didn’t know why Floyd was calling…
My guy it took Floyd running up on Manny at a basketball game for the fight to finally get done…
Typing this though and looking at Floyd currently as a promoter it’s embarrassing hat he’s currently doing when you consider the type of fighter he was.

 

I think its generally considered that Floyd "could" at one time punch with good power but his brittle hands made him put that on the back burner , you had to notice though if fighters tried to rush/strongarm Floyd he would slide n slip but when he couldn't he would give a stiff enough jab & then most, usually (apart from Maidana) decided that was a bad idea...
Floyd should be ashamed to call the Ortiz fight a win...imo...
