I was in agreement with you until I read the "Whyte upsets him" part. Whyte is a chinny bum who will have no chance against even a deteriorated Fury.
Nah, the coke has him. He is a done deal. He used all he mental stamina to get ready for Wilder. Nothing left now.
I think he's a breath of fresh air. When he opens his mouth there's a chance of something genuine coming out rather than a pre-prepared sound bite that's been through focus group testing. He popped up at the Loma fight in a silly suit and big shades and led the crowd in a sing song for Bob Arum. It made me laugh and sometimes that's not such a bad thing. Yes there's an element of the carnival barker about it and we can all get analytical trying to work out the angle and where this plays into PPV sales etc but I am prepared to just enjoy the sight of someone larger than life currently in a good place and not afraid to enjoy themselves.
I don't wish bad things on Fury at all. Just going by his history. Last time he started using coke he left the sport for almost 3 years. Sure, he had other issues that went along with it, most likely his issues were drug induced. He is 33 years old, he cannot afford to take another long lay off and come back at 36-37.
