that is true they dont have to move like jers but jers moved semi modern joe didnt which is why joe looked outdated with him

that is the point my point is not to say joe moving the same way as jers its to say how jers used mutiple angles while moving back or forward and not tiptoeing

it's people like george who had modern movement even though he was sloopy and people now in this era that people can see they aren't really that polished but they still have modern movement in their movements

why do you think I would lie saying joe moved outdated if he didnt you know I call that era trash so If I did see jers moving bad the same way I would say it dont you think I would you know how I am I think you already know I would

I cant be wrong unless we have vid to show joe moved like a modern or semi we dont do we

and if we did see joe using modern or semi modern movement he wouldnt have stuggled the way he did back then his movement being the way it was made him stuggle back then look at the people he fought

I can put George frazier mike razor fury and mutiple others back then and cause of advanced movement they had they go undefeated without struggle

    George “sloopy”?

Ah, that explains the single mast sticking out from the top of his head. I never understood that.

I'm honestly not trying to be a jerk here: Is English your second/third/fourth language?

I ask because you said that I accused you of lying. I actually said exactly the opposite. I explained repeatedly that I believe you are wrong but NOT lying. I said it in the exact same post you just quoted.

Lying and being wrong are not the same thing. "Lying" means that you say something false intentionally, knowing that it's false.

We do. We have exactly that. I posted one. Everybody except you and maybe two other people (out of dozens of respondents) agreed that it showed modern movement. Angles and everything. I refer you to my post in the other thread, where I summarized all of your objections to Joe Louis, and explained why they failed.

He used better angles than Jersey Joe by definition, since he cut the ring off on Jersey Joe and knocked him out.

"Modern or semi modern" is not a real category. The only definitions you've ever given of those words were, again, broken down in the other thread and found to be inaccurate. The overwhelming majority of people who actually box thought Louis looked modern in that clip, and explained why.

Unfortunately, since you reject using words to describe boxing, there is no way to convince you. There is no magic wand that I can wave to make you understand what you're seeing when you watch Joe Louis. You either see it, or you don't.

I did show you video. In the other thread. Everyone else used your own standards -- as best we could figure them out -- to explain that Joe Louis was clearly "modern." You didn't agree. Unfortunately, you also didn't refute any of the points made in that thread, which makes it hard to know why you disagreed.

You've also claimed for pages in both threads that you would post a detailed breakdown, with video, of the skills Louis lacked. You haven't done this.

Since you won't use your words to explain in detail why Louis wasn't modern, and you also haven't posted any video breakdowns explaining it either, I don't really think it's going to get much farther at this stage. It's like I said above. If you don't want to engage with arguments because you distrust words, and also won't post videos, there's nowhere to go from there. You either see it, or you don't.

I did give you a vid. It was even short and close-up enough to discuss without any difficulty.

You couldn't see what almost everyone else watching the video saw. Everyone explained what they were seeing, and you still didn't see it. You also didn't explain what the video was missing.

And that's fine. Not everybody sees the same things. But if you want to convince the overwhelming majority of the forum that they're wrong about Louis, you need to give us more than just repeating that you can't see what everybody else does.

yea I did explaining what he was missing it was the movement that jers had and smoothness while moving then you asked me other questions

I shouldnt need to explain when you can see it's simple as he didnt use movement looe jers did not as in style but mutiple movements while moving like jers used

you wont show me that cause it didnt exist the only vids I can see is joe tiptoeing

I dont see the punches while moving forward smoothly

I dont see weaving to the left or right

I dont see ducks while coming forward and mutiple other advances in movement

the majority is liars and acting blind cause they dont see it ether when it didnt exist in him

Why would Louis need to move like the guy he beat twice in order to improve his game plan?

This is the first time you mentioned weaving or ducking. I think this is one of the issues that many are having with your argument. You are not being specific in your criticisms of Louis.

For example, the part I bolded in your post -- "multiple movements while moving" -- tells us nothing. It didn't tell us which movements. We are left to guess.

You've now finally just added that he didn't weave and duck. It took dozens of pages across two threads to do this. Although here again, you add ominously "and multiple other advances in movement," which makes me worry we'll need another 20 pages before you unveil another criticism you're currently keeping vague.

Anyway, aside from the weaving and ducking, which I'm sure someone will get around to addressing, your other criticisms of Joe's movement have already been answered.

You are certainly free to believe that everyone except you is lying. But I still urge you to consider that that's a very unlikely conspiracy theory. Not everyone sees the world the same way that you do. I realize that in your head, you believe Joe Louis looks primitive when you watch him. But other people are not you. They have different opinions than you do.

In fact, it would make more sense to accuse us all of being ignorant about boxing than of lying. (This would not be correct either, collectively, but it would make more sense than accusing the 40+ people who responded of all lying.)

Anyway, I kind of think we are winding down. While I doubt that you and I are going to agree on Louis, I want to thank you for provoking a lot of very interesting posts and analysis about Louis from the forum.
