There are way too many similarities with Eubank Jnr at the moment, all the gym and sparring talk, fighting the old guys, parading their belts like they mean anything, it's all building up for Benn to have his Jnr vs Groves moment.

 

avanesyn will happen if the money is right.

Avanesyn won't happen if Benn is making similar money if not more fighting others.

Benn is becoming a draw. I don't care who you are but if you can go to another city than your own and draw 7000 fans that means his becoming a popular fighter.

If Warren wants that fight they are going to have to offer Benn major money.

From where he started they shouldn't be rushing Benn. Just look back at those first few fights and it looked like a kid who never stepped in the ring before.

There is no way that Benn should be further along the road than Josh Kelly. Just shows that talent alone isn't enough and you need more than that. Kelly was coasting on his natural gifts while Benn has put in the work.

 

Makes you wonder where Harley Benn would be now if he had similar backing, exposure and everything else from day one.

The attendance was closer 6000 and how many were there for Benn though? Paddy Lacey who was way down the undercard sold 600 tickets, was a few other Scousers on the card and lots of Irish flags in the crowd for Katie Taylor. Someone on here said half the crowd left after Taylor.

 

This. Even though we would love Benn-Avanesyan, the business doesn't work like that. Avanesyan brings absolutely nothing on the table. Fighting Broner in the US is a much better business decision than fighting for some Euro belt no-one cares about. They want Benn to be the future casual favourite (after Khan & AJ) and the matchmaking will be done accordingly.

 

Broner doesn't let his hands go anymore.... throws 1 shot per round and then throws his toys out the pram when he inevitably doesn't get the judges decision. He's done.

We've seen Conor on our screen as a raw novice and yeah he was wild, but you could see there was something there..... and he's grafted his bollocks off to make the improvements he has.

I actually enjoy watching him fight but its the lack of self awareness that gets me! After the Algieri fight he says 'what more do I need to do to prove myself, I've knocked out Vargas, beat Granados and now Algieri - I'm the number 1 in UK and coming for the US'.
He must know what we want - a top UK fighter, prove you're no1 in UK! Fight Ava! If you'r calling out the US then fight Ennis or Ortiz!

Then next day in his car on IG he calls out Broner...**** me!!!!
