He's got all the physical stuff you can't buy.

I don't hate his chances against Wilder today.

I know he barely (or, IMO, didn't) beat Chisora but Chisora poured his entire greatness of spirit into that fight and Parker was on cruise control.

He seems to lack a certain fire, he appears to be reluctant to try to KO his opponents.

He appeared to have that aggressiveness in his early fights, but not during past few years.

Followed Parker since his earliest days.

When did he lose the "mongrel" to get in and finish guys?

Seemed like half-way through the AJ fight. Seriously.

He's past prime, can't land a clean punch to save his life anymore.

He has won a version of World title, he is healthy, wealthy and happy, appears to have a great family life, is highly respected and had honours bestowed upon because of his boxing success, that is not bad for a "under achiever or just not that good"

Could/should he have achieved more in the squared circle, possibly yes, however he has had level of success that most boxers never experience, so i would suggest the guy has done ok, and of course he is still young enough to do more.

I had Parker - Ruiz a draw, I had Parker beating Hughie Fury 116-112, Parker beating Takam by the same, and I had Whyte beating Parker even if the headbut knockdown had not counted, I don't think Parker did enough for a draw there. But another 30 seconds or so and he would have had Whyte out of there.

I'd love to see a Parker Ruiz rematch, but too much time has passed now for that to mean much, both of them have slept in silk sheets for far too long and have lost the mongrel they had on display 3- 5 years ago.

    Parker is not past prime

HWs his height have a prime in their 30s - not their 20s

Watching his earlier fights, he already carried a fair amount of blub.

Parker really has to show something soon

Or even us diehard fans are going to despair of him

At this point, he is more than happy to be in Tyson Fury's entourage rather than being a world title challenger. Parker was never that good to begin with and only got worse last couple of years, already past his prime. His heart is not in the game anymore.

He is 29-2 but even that is controversial. Fights with Takam, Ruiz, Hughie, Fa and Chisora were close and probably won some robberies along the way.

It has become apparent that he is not world class.
I thought he deserved a draw against Whyte, but I don't think Whyte is any good either.
