A constant theme I've noticed is that SRR is regarded as the consensus GOAT on this forum. The latest Ring Magazine rankings also have SRR as the GOAT. His resume is quite impressive in terms of depth. However, I don't see any noteworthy wins vs ATG fighters in their primes on that list. Does SRR have any wins that are better than wins vs Prime Liston, Frazier, and Foreman?

No wins over atg's in their prime? How about 2 wins over Kid Gavilan, pretty sure Lamotta was prime for at least one of the 5 wins, Sammy Angott while he was lightweight champion (no belt was on the line) and koing a prime iron chinned middleweight champion while Robinson was very past prime (Gene Fullmer II)

All the above ( good points ) also he put the beats on Zivic in 41 and again in 42 no mean feat, when you consider what a rough tough fighter Fritzie was at the time , also wins over Servo, Angott, and Jake, all within just shy of two years as a pro !!! C,mon Money may....
    keep well.

He wouldn't last a round with Frazier, Foreman or Liston.

A lot of the fully deserved hype surrounding SRR had to do with the WAY he fought. Watching him is pretty astonishing to this very day.

Ali beat the best group of fighters ever…and I don’t think it’s close. The issue with Ali when comparing him to other ATGs is amount of fights, skill set, how dominant. Although he beat the best it is arguable SRR was more dominant for a longer time…but to me it can go either way. I actually think Ali gets underrated because the boxing community feels the need to pick lesser known fighters as “the best”. Or maybe they didn’t like Ali personally. But either way look at his wins it’s ridiculous
    Liston x2
    Frazier x2
    Foreman
    Norton x2
    Quarry x2
    Jimmy Ellis
    Jimmy young
    Oscar Bonavena
    Zora Foley
    Cleveland Williams
    George Chuvalo
    Henry Cooper
    Archie Moore
    Ron Lyle
    Earnie Shavers
    Ernie Terrell
And many more. But just an absurd amount of names

His record is remarkably lacking considering the accolades he adorning his name, and the fact that he fought for DECADES in some of the historically deepest divisions of Boxing. He's still pretty incredible, though.

Harry Greb, Tony Canzoneri, Ezzard Charles, Ray Leonard, Tommy Loughran, Maxie Rosenbloom, Archie Moore...

Ali's record at Heavyweight is unrivaled, but you need to correct your statement.

At the end of the day, even hardcore fans show up wanting to see someone get knocked out. Not only did Robinson deliver in spades, he made violence soooo beautiful.
