Please for the love of jesus...

    STOP

That being said Tony is the more skilled if less consistant fighter than Canelo.

Tony would tap that ass but get robbed by the judges. Both men hit hard and have solid chins so would go the distance

Tony went upto heavy abeit with an asterix however Canelo has an asterix for PEDS as well so.....

Toney is one of the top 5 naturally skilled fighters of all time, despite not being disciplined he was able to achieve so much

Both are pretty skilled, I’d probably lean to Toney, but it’s not the landslide answer many will give.

Very close both very skilled with a slight edge to Toney but I wouldn't argue with anyone who said Canelo.

I’m a bigger Toney fan but he lacked Canelo’s discipline. Prime vs prime, Toney was better IMO but he was inconsistent and undisciplined. Canelo always shows up in prime shape and is a model of consistency. He’s also getting better with age. James was a naturally more talented guy who ate himself out of his best weight classes. It was sad to see because he was a special fighter.

Toney was fundamentally one of the best fighters ive ever seen at 160- all the way to heavyweight, but at 168 he was the total package. I think Toney at his peak was a slightly better fighter skillwise.

    Puhleeze!

For an exponent of American Slickness Toney's slickness was exceptional
