Hes actually a very humble fighter. Despite having the highest Knockout Rate in the history of the sport and unifying against Gvodzyk. Good man. Lomachenko should take some lessons here on humility.

Seems like a nice humble down-to-earth guy… Seen that with a lot of boxers that look like beasts in the ring, they are pussycats outside of it.. Lennox, GGG.. I like Beterbiev, shame his career has stopped and started so many times he could've done so much more… Bit of a waste really

I doubt we will get Beterbiev vs Bivol before he retires. Bivol looked small at the weekend. I think the nail might have even beat him if they had met

 

Bivol is just hanging around for a Canelo payday. The appetite has gone and Hearn has abandoned him.

Beterbiev is wanting to unify at 175lbs but Joe Smith Jr and Bivol are running as far away as they can from him while Canelo is going to age him out or wait for a serious decline in him.

BTW....that Andre Kulesza guy who is Beterbiev's strength and conditoning coach is 72 years old and has been in this game since the 1970s and has worked with Lennox Lewis when he was an amateur. His is the Polish version of Mackie Shiltone but gets zero fanfare. He'll keep Beterbiev in top condition for many years I am sure of it. Those years of wisdom and knowledge mean a lot.

 

Decent fella I like the more chiiled guys who are just monsters in the ring.

Hope he gets some action in 2022.

 

Bivol is young and skilled otherwise Hearn would use him as chow for Buatsi.

It is an ESPN puff piece. Lomachenko comes across well in ESPN interviews too. Beterbiev is pals with Kadyrov.

 

Beterbiev-Bivol needs to be made ASAP. I have no idea why there is no demand for this fight?

 

Neither Bivol nor Beterbiev have a massive fanbase.

 

Doesn't matter it needs to be made. Alot of fights get made regardless of fanbase size this is an important fight for boxing.

 

Professional boxing is a circus. Bivol isn't interested in unifying.

 

Beterbiev has a big fanbase. They're just not paying Westerners who have PPV access.

He has a big Caucus following. All of Chechnya knows him and he is endorsed publically by Ramzan Kadyrov.

Plus he got all the Muslim fanbase too.

People need a push to see if they will sink or swim. Look at Khabib....the fanbase was hidden away until he became a superstar against Mcgregor.
