Literally everyone in boxing is out in Dubai at the minute - Crawford, Usyk, Taylor, Hearn, Prograis, Sauerland to name a few, and 3 boxers have posted pictures with Kinahan in the last few days. Me thinks something is going off.

Done a bit of snooping and they’re all out there for the launch of something called ‘KombatChain’. Be a Kinahan company no doubt.

Watching IFL/Seconds out coverage of the event certainly makes me wonder just exactly could bring some significant players in boxing together? I know pretty much zero about crypto currency but the interviews watched so far Hearns, RJJ , Josh Taylor crypto currency hardly gets mentioned. RJJ in particular gave me the impression it was to ensure that the boxer maximised their future earnings etc. The plot thickens. !

All you need to know is it’s got so many star names behind it, imagine if it increases 10 fold (which is not a lot in crypto terms) then how much money these people will actually make. A 40k purse paid in Kombatchain is then worth 400k etc. fighters have benefited and not just that Probellum have raised millions / hundreds of millions to find purses.

Rumours are Hearn was meeting with Kinahan remotely to discuss Fury be Whyte as supposedly it’s who pulls the strings rather than TR and Warren. Also had a meeting regarding Probellum and the event was good timing as it let Hearn cover the meeting up by having a reason to be there

It's clever, especially if one of the major crypto exchanges (Binance, Kraken, FTX, Kucoin etc) starts to list it, offering easy convertibility to mainstream cryptocurrencies or even fiat currency.

Also super high risk for a boxer to accept it instead of a standard purse. Investing your discretionary income is one thing, accepting a high risk cryptocurrency payment in lieu of salary is another.

Can see Probellum chasing a deal with Sky, BT or Channel 5. Those numbers are terrible.
